Brady gone

Agreed. On paper, they look like a real threat and Brady believes they give him a great chance at a seventh ring. I suspect, however, that Brady may be downplaying the role of intangibles with a coaching staff. The little things won't be as precise as under Belichick and that can cost a team with the talent to win it all.

Brady's leadership will also have to return to form. Less pouting and entitlement as he has to win over a new locker room that may grow weary of his yelling if the team isn't a .750 or higher performer. I'm honestly not confident that Tom can regain his humility after such success, as a major reason he left the Patriots was that he grew tired of eating humble pie every day.

Brady wants his final years to be in the sun and everyone to bask in his glory. It may work out; the move may also end up shining more of a light on his shortcomings in what has otherwise been an all time great career.

Exactly. People think it’s just plug and play like Peyton in Denver. It isn’t.

Alright Bledsoe, you’ve been sitting on the bench for 20 years, you’re well rested now.

This is the MOAB of Lose-Lose situations (except for Tampa of course).

Why wouldn't it be plug and play? The Bucs scored 29 a game with Winston. If Brady is healthy you don't see them improving?

I agree that TB is now a playoff team. They didn't need much, especially on offense. They will add the needed RB when they decide on one.

The issue is that Arians, Lefwhich and Brady need to develop an offensive system that will best suit Brady and the team. Then the team must learn that system, in a shortened offseason.

As an aside, it will be difficult to convince Brady that interceptions don't matter; they really are often the equivalent of punts.

They also gave up 28.1 ppg, a total of 449 points, almost TWICE what the Patriots gave up (225)..

Yes, TB needs improvement on defense. However, they are likely to be a playoff team even without that improvement. The offense will score more and keep the defense off the field more.

Here's a question I haven't seen addressed. Are the Bucs going to adopt the offensive scheme Brady has run for 20 years or is he going to have to learn a new system???? If it's the former which is notoriously difficult ( ask the Patriots' rookies) how are they going to implement it if everyone is quarantined and OTAs could be eliminated or very limited???

A large if for a 43 year old QB.

Well....i'm expecting Brady to be more efficient with the ball than Winston.

Going to be interesting to see how that unfolds.

It must have been love, but it’s over now. It must have been good, but I lost it somehow

Thomas would fix that leak
So even if he is just average, they are better.

But no deal
I am still in denial, thank you.

Tom Curran has been predicting this for a while and is not holding back now.

While Leftwich is the O.C., Arians is famous for adapting his scheme in order to fit the strengths of his QBs. So, I think we can expect some hybridization, but with an emphasis on what Brady does so brilliantly.

I don't blame him. Kraft's behavior yesterday was an embarrassment.

Brady leaving has also ended our dynasty.

Manning was 36 when he joined Denver, seven years younger than Brady is now.

Sort of ongoing thing.

True, but yesterday was such obvious him just trying to blow smoke up all of our asses that you have to wonder why nobody stopped him. It was that bad.
