Maybe someone could start a poll about who would be willing to give up their opportunity for a ventilator so someone younger could have it. This may be coming soon to a hospital near you..

The election literally might be decided by which voting methods are allowed and which party better utilizes them. I would think this is disadvantage for Democrats because they typically have more lower financial class voters, but I must remind myself that the general laws of society will not be the same then as they were a month ago.

trump is the absolutely last person I'd ever vote for. I'm okay with him being a dumb TV show host, but no way in hell should he have ever been in the position of being the world's most powerful man.

It's going to happen. There's nothing on the horizon to ease panic because unfortunately the "big unknown" is the coronavirus. Nobody has any idea what's going to happen with that, how long it'll last, and what kind of impact it'll have, ultimately.

The 2008 crash, on the other hand, had known causes, and it bottomed out when the government stimulus package came through.

But the dumbest thing you or anyone can do right now is to sell. You actually should start buying soon.

The stock market has survived every known disaster. It'll survive this one.

Please impress us with your vast knowledge and accomplishments as opposed to these "dumb" guys. Where you ever the governor of a large state? Head of the CIA? Maybe you started an oil exploration company that made millions. Perhaps you took a few apartment buildings your father left you and created a world wide empire? These people seem to misunderstand the difference between anecdote and data. There's a handful of bad cases of younger people, but that's true of flu or whatever too.

The Italians have looked at their data and 99.2% of the deaths are in those who are elderly or who have significant underlying conditions. That is not the same as ICU stays, but still a significant finding. The average age of the deceased is right at 80.
