How in the world did BB screw up the cap so fv^king bad that team has no $$, no QB, and a bunch of empty slots with FA leaving!

I guess we do have 7 picks in rounds 6 and 7 to find GOLD, lmao.

Thats the problem when you have a lot of really good players, pay to keep them and in parallel, don't hit on enough draft picks, have enough high picks to keep the short/long term salary costs down.

Plus Tom's $13.5m and ABs $4.5m are the 2 biggest dead cap hits.

I know but its not like Pats were loaded with big name players or a bunch of >$10M/yr salaries. The answer has to be that he is over paying for the lower end no name guys. Look at difference between these 2 rosters cap hits:
