Brady gone

I miss him already but I won’t be rooting for him against the patriots. It’s been too many years to be a fan of any other team even if we’re really bad

He's not doing a damn thing with the mess he has now

Don't be so sure about that. So what NFL team are you pulling for now that you've jumped off the bandwagon?

I said Belichick is in a different tier. What more do I need to say that puts distance between Belichick and Reid? Reid is a great coach while Belichick is the master.

If you look at the quarterbacks, that tells much of the story.

Bill would have been fired if Brady didn't take over for Bledsoe. Bill didn't become a genius overnight. My opinion is, without Brady: BB would be a good, but not a great coach. Brady overtime made BB better.

But according to this board, he's the only coach who ever came up with a gameplan to hold an elite offense to under 20 points in the postseason.

I can understand the BB love. I respect him as the coach. However, he was never perfect. Brady gave him breathing room.

Taylor, Banks, Johnson and Marshall have been rejuvenated, and are playing for the Patriots this season, then?
.

Hey Skippy....Is it shorter to Oklahoma or by bus?

That's the level of your intelligence when confronted with a reason why your earlier post was ridiculous?

How sad for you.

Seems more apt as self-evaluation for you.

Reality:

  • With Tom Brady as his starting QB, Bill Belichick has gone to the Super Bowl 9 times in 18 seasons.
  • With anyone other than Tom Brady as his starting QB, Bill Belichick has gone to the Super Bowl 0 times in 7 seasons.

In other words, you're posting nonsense in this thread.

Your fanbase. awaits your errrrr wisdom

Can you get any more pathetic?

This is the problem. There’s absolutely no measurement or attempted measurement at just how much value Belichick adds. People say there absolutely stupid things often and don’t even think twice. They really think a coach (!) sprinkles fairy dust on the field and it makes the ball magically move.
If you don't get what BB adds, then you haven't been watching for the past 20 years.

What does Belichick add? Can you even quantify it any way? Can you even compare it to other coaches? Be specific...I want to hear why this is unique.

I'm guessing I won't hear back from you.

You seriously haven't seen the dozens of times something has come up and the Pats will take advantage of it while the other team is left holding their ****s in their hands? You've never heard the players raving about 'we practiced for that exact situation!' when it's something the other teas just shine on? Seriously? Taking the safety. Not calling the timeout. Gimme a ****ing break.

Imagine if someone proposed a trade: Tom Brady for Devin McCourty and Joe Thuney.

The combined salaries are roughly equal. One makes you sure-fire division champion and possibly a SB contender; the other doesn't even register on the radar.

So what can we do to improve our secondary and o-line, guys?

edit: wrong forum, oops!
