This is good, out of our conference and wont have to play him until 2021

No money but i never understood why they franchised thuney. Also there where ways of freeing cap space. The point is bill in my mind wanted to go with a younger QB. Always felt that way.

Re:Thuney-They franchised him to either come to terms on a long term deal lowering this years cap number or trading him for what I would hope is better than the 3rd round comp if he were to leave via FA. I think a long term deal happens before the season.

I agree Bill has wanted to get younger at qb. He should’ve offered Tom the multiyear commitment last year but didn’t. It’s pretty clear at this point he was going Year to year with Tom until retirement.

That TD to INT number is a bit average in the NFL. Yards too. Is that worth 30 a year?

Oh boy, we really have been spoiled.

My buddy that I have Pats season tickets with has a home in Venice. We are going to go to a game in Tampa next year to root for Brady.
On your way north to Tampa pick me up in West Bradenton

I am 29. All I remember beyond Brady is a middling team that watched it's best players and coaches abandon ship for the Jets. Brady has been at least 50% responsible for all of the relevant success this organization has ever had.

Brady is synonymous with the Patriots to me. I'm not an old guy with his card carrying fandom from the 70's. It is what it is, I'm not ashamed that I'm younger and feel that loyalty to Brady. And I think it is more than understandable if you make an attempt to look at it from that point of view.

70s!,

So they are saying $30 million year ... for how many?
Been real busy buying condo today and I am well behind in news.

All of them. Tampa took one look at coronavirus and guaranteed him $30m until the extinction of human flesh, figuring it wasn't too long off.

At least 2, no solid info. Absolutely mind boggling. Paying for past performance.

So again i ask the board, what would be the point of attempting to sign Brady to a 30 mil a year deal to run it back with a similar supporting cast?

Is a similar cast but Stidham better atleast with Brady we get to the playoffs and who mows. Now it’s 4-8 wins and miss out on the can’t miss QBs going too 3

Tennis Elbow Tom

Oh it’s been bad here. First glee about AB maybe going there. See the irony in that? And also, he will be MVP, set passing records and Bucs will win SB.

Loved Brady but with that arm I said in the last few months 20 million tops ...
He was a 5-15 yard passer for most of the year ... that's troubling for 30 million.

Bucs are interested in Gurley apparently. Good lord can you imagine that offense?

That’s the pats personnel. It was awful this past season. One guy with gimpy ankle and another with a bunch of injuries and a rookie wideout who couldn’t get separation if he ran through a wet paperbag.

I don’t know why they’re focused on the offense. They should try and get corner help and OL.

Brady is the goat. There is no other q.b I'd rather have under center for the Patriots as the team stands right at this second. HOWEVER.. I would be lieing if said over the last 1.5 seasons I didn't notice a slip. Now.. Some will over react and act as if I am saying he sucked...he didn't.. Still a top 10 QB..but he was no longer capable of masking the weakness on our team. Its time for is to build dominant trenches again and rebuild.

I'm a 58 year Pats fan, but I will be following TFB. I love what he and BB have
done these past 20 years. I will not forget the heart ache and all the joy of these last
20 years. SALUTE to you Tom and GO PATS.
