Brady hasnt missed the playoffs in almost 20 years

Brady has never had a losing season

Brady hasn't missed a game due to injury in 12 years

And you got him struggling to make the playoffs :D:D:rolleyes::rolleyes:

So I assume, the coaching staff, his offense and defense plus ST had nothing to do with that? Nah, it was ALL TB. Did it all by himself.

Lol. This is getting more comical by the post. Really is.

I mean, he's not doing this because of the whole "TB12" thing, right? Well, Ok, besides the $30 million?
Or maybe the stat chase with Brees.

Idk about that. They need to fix that pass defense. It’s atrocious. Run defense is very good. OL could be a problem. Brady took the money. 30 million. Don’t know how much more cap space the bucs have.
The Tampa Bay defense gave up almost exactly twice as many points as the Patriot defense surrendered last year. Their offense scored more points than ours while posting a losing record. Tom is going to have to have one of his best years if the Bucs hope to sniff the Super Bowl.

I still believe the chargers would have been a perfect fit. The nfc has a lot of legit passers compared to the afc. Man the chiefs are loving that brady is out of the afc.
Considering the Queefs beat us last year and TB12 is in decline I don't think they were worried.

Yep they needed the zebras to take away a critical td. Brady’s numbers next year 4700 yards passing with 38 tds and 11 interceptions. So much a decline. Bucs pass defense sucks unless they get help but they should put points in bunches.

I hope you are right but I doubt it.

You was like this on realgm and your deflection here is telling.

I didnt say he did it by him self

What I said was injury has never prevented him from making the playoffs before.

Which is 100% fact.

Your opinion that he might not even finish the season due to previous seasons of playing hurt is what's comical.

That TD to INT number is a bit average in the NFL. Yards too. Is that worth 30 a year?

Didn't read the whole thread but look at the QBs in that division if Bridgewater signs w Carolina, Ryan in ATL, Brees in NO and Bridgewater in CAR. That's a lot tougher than he has had in Buf ,NYJ and Mia the last few years..
Look at his schedule this year, @Den and versus KC.. No cakewalk....

It's the Chiefs and Ravens in the AFC until further notice....

and in the NFC, you are correct, TB12 will have some competition from SF, Seattle, GB, NO, and LAR. If TB can add a better RB and a few quality pieces on defense, they could win it all.

Pats didn't have anywhere close to $30/year left for Brady after paying McCourty. Had to also let Collins and Van Noy walk. And still have no TE or solid receivers.

.

.

So again i ask the board, what would be the point of attempting to sign Brady to a 30 mil a year deal to run it back with a similar supporting cast?

I don’t think so . The most td passes last year was 36 by Lamar Jackson . Either way i think brady will play with a chip on his shoulder. If they can add defensive piece and a OL they can do some things.

Realgm lol. I pop over from time to time and see the frauds there lauding the Jays and Kemba when they wanted ship them out for AD lol. That’s priceless.

Anyhow,

“Brady hasnt missed the playoffs in almost 20 years- doesn’t say anything about injury, team statement

Brady has never had a losing season- again has nothing to do with injury, more of a team thing

Brady hasn't missed a game due to injury in 12 years- this is correct and a good response

And you got him struggling to make the playoffs :D:D:rolleyes::rolleyes:

So yeah there you go. So yeah, I look at injuries starting to pile up, and took an educated guess.

Here is more info.
Bill Belichick admits Tom Brady has missed extended time in practice this year

“Those guys are always ready to go,” Belichick said. “It’s an opportunity for them. It’s hard to practice three quarterbacks, but there have been a couple examples where Tom hasn’t been able to do a lot this year, so that’s given Stidham an opportunity to go with the first group and run our plays and run our offense, and that’s been good for him. It’s given Cody an opportunity to run more scout-team plays because Jarrett’s not taking those. So, quarterbacks are always looking for more work. They’ve taken advantage of it. I think it’s helped them.”

No money but i never understood why they franchised thuney. Also there where ways of freeing cap space. The point is bill in my mind wanted to go with a younger QB. Always felt that way.

Brady is in a better spot today than he was yesterday.

And being paid better for it too.

He doesnt need any more validation from anyone

Chips work when you are 20, 30 maybe 40. Start to become pretty heavy as the years start adding on. Lots of ifs you listed there.

Because he wants a solid above average line. Should be near elite when Andrews comes back. Bet its better than Tampa’s line by far and extremely useful for a young QB. Thats why they did it. Wynn, Thuney, Andrews, Mason and Cannon (or upgrade) is very, very good.

Meh the Saints offense is overrated. The two best offenses in that division are the falcons and the bucs. If the bucs and add a linemen and a corner they can do some damage. I didn’t know their run defense was stout last year.

That’s a problem that the bucs will have to address. They have the 6th pick in the draft. . I am surprised that they didn’t try to get a corner.
