Chris Godwin, Mike Evans and Antonio Brown............... with Tom Frickin Brady throwing. God have mercy.

He'll win frickin MVP.

Fck you Kraft.

No really, Fck you Kraft.

Yeah, I'll admit that I'll be following the Bucs....Brady is gonna light it up with those weapons if the line can block.

Thank you, which is what I will do. Like I said I have literally zero interest in ever rooting for a team other than the Patriots. And the Patriots will never play Brady outside of maybe a regular season game at some point.

Brady fan first, Patriots fan second. Fan of nothing and nobody else NFL related beyond that. Sorry if that is an offensive stance to take.
I'm with you. Brady is my favorite NFL player ever. It will be depressing not seeing him suit up for the Pats this year, but it seems like both Brady and the Pats knew it was the right thing for both.

The pats couldn't give Brady the financial commitment he needed, and Brady wants to play
I was a fan of the Patriots for forty years before Brady came. His twenty years with the team were great, but in the end, it's the team (or some cynics would say the uniforms) that I root for.
That's fully allowed as well. :D

There is no wrong in choosing the Pats over Brady or Brady over the pats. We all enjoyed the ride these past 20 years. And we can all enjoy that ride post Brady's retirement together as well.

Let's just all enjoy the great run, and hopefully we see both the pats and Brady face each other in the Superbowl, as that would be one epic matchup. The GOAT coach vs the GOAT QB.

So what compensation do we get got the bucks open tampering?

I'll root for Tom, but Patriots first...

Weird.

WEEI story has it that Dale Arnold was the first to report that TB going to Bucs.

My first thought was when has Dale ever had a scoop and after reading this thread realized that no one here believes it as he never got a mention or credit.
Naw, this thread was started after the Dale thing hit the 'Brady gone' thread.

Ideally we would have just renamed the 'Brady gone' thread so the context was intact, but hey what is ideal these days?

Link: Brady gone

PFF is hit or miss, but they had Tampa's OL ranked 7th overall last year.

it kills me he couldn’t finish a two decade plus career with the Pats. Any career spent with the se team is so rare now. Tampa makes sense, though; they have good young skill players and absolutely no fan base and so no pressure. No income tax in Florida and better weather.

The buccaneers have the same effect on me as professional soccer; no matter how hard I try, I literally can’t care about them.

He wasn't. It was Mike Lynch of WCVB on twitter last night according to Maria Stephanos.

There is no wrong in choosing the Pats over Brady or Brady over the pats.

This is incorrect. It is just not legal to do physical violence to people who choose any given player over the Pats.

It does make one the opposite of a football fan and a Patriots fan, however. Showing such colors over an amazing quality player like Brady is almost forgivable... emphasis on almost.

I moved from Burlington to Virginia when I was six and got in about 100 fights over liking the Pats (and the AFL) back in the day...

To me, if you think you wash out 55 years (I will not claim that age 2 and under I was really a fan) because of one player with a chiseled jaw, a dimpled chin, icewater in his veins, no quit in any cell of his body, and six Super Bowl rings, er, um... still gonna say, no.

But I'm gonna go ahead and say it was you with that talking teddy bear at Brady's place wasn't it?

I was there recently. Downtown is ok. The area around Amalie Arena is cool. some of the outer neighborhoods around Busch Gardens/Fowler seems sketchy with lots of discount seedy plazas and payday loans places and I wouldn’t want to be walking around there after dark. Reminds me a bit of old Lynn. Not a whole lot going on around the area of Raymond James Stadium either.

I don’t think you’re going to have to worry about that.
You guys just wait and see. Stid plus the stimulus package our offense is about to receive will take us there

Are you seriously unaware that Brady's passer rating is 10 points higher over his career in warm weather locales?
How about Miami?

Yeah, what could possibly go wrong with AB living in Tampa and hanging out at all those seedy strip club? Sorry about your wet pillow tonight.

Can't believe we will see Brady in a Bucs jersey. Hard to believe. Wouldn't be shocked if they sold out of season tickets within the next few days.

I'm sure they have the means to avoid all of those areas:D

They don't need to add AB given the weapons already there.
