REPORT: Tampa is Brady's Likely Landing Spot

It will be the first season that Brady plays almost all his games in warm weather, with 3 of those games in domes. I wonder what the numbers will look like with Brady avoiding 2 months of winter. He'll only have 1 or 2 in cold weather at most, since only 3 games are away against teams in cold weather stadiums.
While Brady's passing numbers may improve in the warm weather and in domes, it's not certain that his won-loss record will. Brady was probably the best cold weather, bad conditions QB in NFL history. If it was snowing and 28 degrees at Gillette, it was almost a certainty that he would outplay the opposing signal caller. He no longer will have that advantage.

I see your point of view right up until you say you'd root for him over the Patriots. As a Patriots fan, I'd never root against the Patriots.
You have that right, just like he has the right to choose Brady over the Patriots for the next 2 or 3 years. Brady is the most iconic patriot player of all time. The GOAT at his position.

As pats fans who have watched him for the last 20 years, we can choose to still be pats fans and want to see Brady have success. Brady is leaving in the most classy way possible.

That's an unfair opinion. What if he stays a life long fan after Brady retires. Nothing wrong with rooting for the GOAT in his final season(s).
Thank you, which is what I will do. Like I said I have literally zero interest in ever rooting for a team other than the Patriots. And the Patriots will never play Brady outside of maybe a regular season game at some point.

Brady fan first, Patriots fan second. Fan of nothing and nobody else NFL related beyond that. Sorry if that is an offensive stance to take.

That’s a good point. Cold was such an advantage and the heat always hurt him. He and the team generally had troubles in Florida. Damn, I am sure that is only going to improve at age 43.

I was a fan of the Patriots for forty years before Brady came. His twenty years with the team were great, but in the end, it's the team (or some cynics would say the uniforms) that I root for.

Word is: Brady has already sent the Tampa deep threat WRs his 25 favorite screen pass plays

I wonder if Tom will prefer Mons Venus over Alex's Showplace in Stoughton?

You could at least put her link up.

Your photos are in.

Done deal.

TB is a TB.

His numbers in warm weather are much BETTER than the opposition's QB he faced in warm weather.

Are you seriously unaware that Brady's passer rating is 10 points higher over his career in warm weather locales?

Awww, I wish I still had my old bright orange Sapp and Rhett jerseys...

Weird.

WEEI story has it that Dale Arnold was the first to report that TB going to Bucs.

My first thought was when has Dale ever had a scoop and after reading this thread realized that no one here believes it as he never got a mention or credit.

Gisele is going to love it there.
