Brady gone

I got family in Tampa. Lived, got married and had kids there out of college from Mass. Definately going to go see him play if true.

At the end of the day Tampa moved heaven and earth to get Brady. Bill was just lukewarm to him, but can't say I blame him. He goes to a division that is way easier than the AFCW and has weapons. I'm curious to see how Brady adjusts to playing with Evans as his main target, given that Brady excels more with receivers who run short and intermediate routes.

Lukewarm? Bill was glacial in both temperature and movement.

Saw Waters in concert 2 years ago. Was better than seeing Pink Floyd. Which I did back in 1988 in Venice, Italy when they played in the lagoon.

The show in Venice must have been awesome. I saw Floyd at Foxboro Stadium late 80's (average at best) but Gilmore was great.

Saw Roger a couple of times in smaller venues. Both great shows. Roger is the man.

I'd really be jealous if you told me you saw them with both in say 1977. I know I was a bit too young but this footage is sick.

I don't think it's necessarily a bad fit. Just because Arians isn't Belichick doesn't mean Brady can't work with him. Other QBs have spoken very highly of Arians in the past. It'll definitely be a different situation for him than he's used to but it could still work. Will be an adjustment.

Problem is 30 years in the Pats system. Winning culture. Championships. Almost every single year. It doesn’t matter what other QBs have to say. They aren’t TB not approach or the way TB does.

Since you are pretty level headed, answer this one for me. With most likely no offseason programs, how well can that work for him wherever he ends up?

I was 9 years old in 77, so I missed them, LOL

Really impressed by Roger's last tour. It was great, took my kids, they loved it.

I only can see a photo and hear the audio. Am I missing something?

Is the country outlawing computers and telephones?

That is called whistling past the graveyard. How many years did it take for Gronk to be Gronk? Jules? To earn his trust? 2007? 13 freaking years ago. He cannot throw the deep ball accurately anymore. He could then not now. I doubt his new recovers are used to the immense pressure he puts on them. Day after day, practice after practice. So you got a new old QB who can’t hit me deep all in my chili?

I swear some of you think Brady is the same Brady of 5 years ago. He is actually a lesser version of his 01-06 self. In NE that may work due to his status in the building. He lost that the instant he left. He is now a 43 year old QB1. Not Tom F-ing Brady.

Who was he throwing the deep ball to this year?

Arians offense emphasizes on deep throws. They got weapons there but that OL better hold up otherwise Brady is gonna get killed.

I assume this was discussed with Arians already and Godwin/Evans can win the middle of the field as well.

I cannot wait to see BB fall flat on his sub .500 face. Brady made this chump and got treated like crap for it in return. Pats never got him real weapons besides Moss and lucking into Gronk. Kraft cheaped out during his entire tenure and I am glad Brady finally got the self esteem to tell these Dbags to shove it. You now have a geriatric team with zero offensive weapons and a mediocre defense. No more TB to carry the day for mediocre Belichick the coach, and garbage BB the GM. Get ready for a 7-9 season BB ball washers.

Bucs are getting new uniforms in April.

How on earth did they ever go with these Pirates of the Caribbean abominations?

Nice showing how much you really like the Pats.

For Brady’s sake let’s hope they don’t bring back the creamsicles.

So that is all that’s needed? New system, new players, strengths/weaknesses with no offseason program?

Yeah on field stuff means jack when going to a completely new organization. Yeah

Go be a Tampa Bay fan, just like so many "Colts" fans became Broncos fans when their precious Peyton switched teams.

This take is just absurd.

I think there is more truth to this than the other narrative, that Belichick made Brady.

However, Belichick took advantage of an advantage (probably could have worded that better.) He spent on other areas of the roster that wouldn't be good on their own, whereas he cheaped out on skill positions because TB + a good offensive line was going to be fine. Also, the Patriots skill players were often just different than other teams but not necessarily worse. What they lacked in athleticism they made up for in smarts.

But yes, I think BB's results with Brady will be shocking to many who are in some kind of punch drunk bubble. Players win, not coaches, and Brady was the queen of the chessboard.

Belichick is brilliant and certainly was a major factor in TB's success. I just think coaching alone is highly overrated.

It's called anger. And I am not happy with the way they have treated this guy. And the way this has ended sucks. You idiots think QB's like this grow on trees? Get ready to suck.

Bucs should be the odds-on favorites to emerge from the NFC with Brady, those skill players, and that defense. He should have an excellent shot at winning #7 next year. They really don’t even need to bring in AB.

I'm still pissed at 13 year old self for not disregarding my mom's proclamation "If you go to NYC to see Pink Floyd, I am not letting you back in the house ever again". She would have gotten over it after kicking me out for a few days, I think. That was The Wall shows at MSG and I had a ticket reserved for me that I passed on. I think that was 1980 IIRC.

But they must bring on AB, just to see @shmessy
