Brady gone

Not really comforted with Stidham taking over having no tight end, aging Edelman with virtually no other WR help, and Sony just not inspiring confidence. This offense could be really bad, and I'm struggling seeing 8 wins with the current roster.

This defense is going to have to ball even harder, and on paper (and the vets being older) it's worse than last year. Brady cured a lot of ails, and people need to prepare themselves for what's coming.

I just wanna say: THANK YOU Mr. Brady and his Family.

20 YEARS of happiness for my family and me in Germany and sometimes live for me in Foxborough.

THX Brady and all the best for your family and YOU.

BON JOVI:" Always ".. will love you

The Pats already have 14 Picks. And, like I said, it only frees up 3.8M in cap space this year.

You’re thinking about this year but this will take a while. Talking about a rebuilding process.

I think he stay in the AFC. Who do you have in the afc right now? Mahomes, lamar jackson? Who else? Big Ben coming back from the elbow and the Texans got weaker trading their best wideout.

Those weapons in Tampa are ready made for him.

Bill didnt commit to brady.

Brady is still a top 5 qb.

Bill ****ed this up.

Brady will have a rebound year with whoever he plays with because now he gets to pick his roster.

History will not be kind to bill on this one

That might all end up true or not true. Who knows.

The reality is that we are talking about the two tail end seasons of Brady's career. That's what tends to happen towards the end of star player careers.

He could of not thrown a single competition all year and still should of gotten a 2 year 50mil deal. BB should of planned for it. I know it's very divided here on this issue but IMO he's an exception to the rule and should of been able to play out in NE if that's what he wanted. He's given us everything for 20 years.

So they should pay him 50 million $ for not completing a pass the year before? That would easily classify as the worst business decision in modern history. It would also put the team I've been a fan of for many many. years in an extremely bad position moving forward. Doesn't that alone matter? I know you were exaggerating on the zero completions, but I'm trying to understand the overall logic of going against all that makes the Patriots, the Patriots.

I’d have no problem giving Brady 2 years, $50 million to finish his career here (they’d be structuring a contract in such a way that it was a 3 year deal with a voidable year, but essentially 2 years/$50m guaranteed).

I think when you factor in Edelman’s injury, Brady has the worst receiving/TE unit of his entire career last year. Yet he still threw 4,000+ yards with 24/8 TD/INT. If he goes to Tampa, barring injury, he’s going to throw 4,500+ yards with 35+ TD’s.

I guess we will see how he does.....is McDaniel going with him?

It took until he literally walked out the door but bill finally acknowledged brady as the number 1 qb ever.

It concerns me that brady called kraft over to tell him he was leaving but bill was not involved.

That's how cold it got

I love Brady and he is the greatest quarterback of all time. WE can debate if it was the garbage receivers and tight ends or him slowing down but he's no longer a top 5 quarterback.

In no order Jackson, Mahomes, Russell, Rodgers, and Watson are better right now.

Give Brady the 2 or 3 year contract last year, he's better than anyone you're going to find in that same period, and let him retire as a 44 year old.

Please just stop this. Brady asked for and got the contract HE WANTED last year. It was not what Patriots wanted or asked for. It was all Tom.

Off topic, does anyone know if it possible to delete one's account or does moderation have to do it?

Yes but that division the saints are still a player. I think he’s ending up in los angeles or maybe see a surprise team. I don’t think Brady’s scared of going up against mahomes .

Hes literally only 2 years removed from mvp

If he goes to the chargers hes gonna have an mvp season.

Calling that now

Of course it's an exaggeration and I don't believe he sucks at all, so keep that in mind. You make a good point.

Raiders??
I think it’s between LA and TB. TB has an slight edge on player personnel and ties to potential AB reunion.

But networks would be fighting over Chargers games with TB there. They’d get many prime time games.

A TB AB reunion would sure be an FU to BB and Kraft.
