Time to make a competitive bid to be the worst time for a shot at Trevor Lawrence. That would piss off the rest of the NFL so much, it would be awesome. Make it happen.

Whether it’s international or not they’re going to be bad this upcoming season. Tough schedule and lack of talent isn’t a good recipe for success.

There is no guarantees that any specific QB prospect will be anything special.

Who is the last QB teams were actually tanking for that actually was worth it ? Even Luck never made a SB. In the mean time the top QBs taken are a graveyard of your Rosens, Darnolds, Trubiskys, Goffs or Winstons.

As others have said.. it is BPA really...

Yeah between the "hardest schedule" in the league, little cap space, Covid-19, and the loss of the GOAT and other vg players, it may be time for Trevor Lawrence--but somehow I don't think we go that route, at least not intentionally.

The dumbest of many dumb off-season threads.

Ugh, how many of these nonsensical threads will we have to deal with?

BB will never tank a team. We have a great secondary and a good oline. We have plenty of picks on draft day. Let’s wait for this all to play out.

Bill likes Stidham.

I disagree. The secondary is still the best in the league which makes it so our defense will still probably be Top 5. Brady wasn't really incredible last season, so the dropoff from him to ___ isn't going to be crazy big. Sure this isn't a Super Bowl team, but it is still a playoff one assuming we can fill in the weaknesses that we would've filled even with Brady.

They wont have to tank, they are going to stink!

Brady was bad last year.

BB tanking is as realictic as Jets chasing the ring this season.

I agree that we will have a top 5 defense. We still need to sign a NT and sign or draft a LB. That isn't much.

The offense is solid at RB and on the OL. We still need to sign or draft 2-3 backups.

HOWEVER, the weaknesses at WR, TE and QB are really severe. A playoff spot will be difficult, especially with our schedule. But, that was to be expected in the first year post-Brady.

I'm sure Belichick has a 2-3 plan. We will lots of cap space in 2021. In the 2022 and thereafter, there will be LOTS of cap space as the the league's cap goes way up.

With all the dumb moves BoB is making in Houston, maybe he'll trade us Watson for a seventh round pick so he can sign Brady.

Get ready for 5-11

I think with a solid taping scheme cooked up, we could probably cheat our way back into the playoffs without Brady.

Bill likes Stidham.

If Stidham can jell with Harry and Meyers the offense could be improved from last year.

For whatever reason Brady couldn't last year.

And at least we won't be wasting time with Gordon and AB.

There’s gonna be a learning curve with stidham plain and simple and if you want him to succeed then you try putting a good offense around him. I’m in the Trevor Lawrence bandwagon though.
