Fed just cut rates to 0. Wow, buckle up folks, this about to get sporty.

More concerned with the setbacks and inconvenience brought by hysterics, food/supply hoarding, and misinformation than I am about contracting something that doesn’t typically require hospitalization. Will continue to monitor though.

I hope that also European Central Bank will do his job but i miss Mario Draghi at the helm...

The setbacks and inconveniences caused by distancing/the virus itself are going to be brutal though. This is going to have a massive domino effect because of businesses closing, loans defaulting, etc. I’ll be shocked if this doesn’t lead to a severe global economic crisis. Companies are basically unplugging from the grid...transportation of goods will likely need to be run by some ad hoc government program because the private sector won’t be able to support it.

What does the Fed have left to help if/when things get worse?

This seems like too drastic of a move right now. Unless of course they were seeing signs of tomorrow's market collapsing even further.

Premature ejaculation. Nothing left to do once things get much worse.

The kids are enjoying movie night day week month here.

Not much. Things are shaping up to go very badly very soon.

Everything we do before a pandemic will seem alarmist. Everything we do after will seem inadequate
Bingo. When a pandemic comes along you really want everyone’s reaction afterwards to be “wow, we really overreacted”.

Fever and dry cough are the major symptoms. Doesn't mean it's nothing but it's also the season for allergies, sinus infections, etc.
So, my wife is on the front lines of this thing working as a hospital RN. During her shift yesterday she cared for a woman back from a cruise with coronavirus symptoms. My wife said she had to wear: gown, facemask, large plastic shield OVER the facemask and protective gloves to her elbows. When she got home last night she left her shoes outside and I had her go straight to the bathroom where she removed her work scrubs and placed them in a plastic bag that I took down to the basement laundry while she showered. This will be our routine going forward as I try to not be paranoid (for her safety, primarily, then mine). Of course, I have seasonal allergies starting to kick in and feel on the crummy side from that plus stress of the unknown so am hypersensitive to physical symptoms of any kind.

She said that if/when the virus spread gets worse she might be forced into overtime as hospital staffers call in sick which already is happening. One good sign is that for the first time since this began the hospital has limited testing available. Each day going forward will be a new challenge and apparently a new story.

We are gonna be on lockdown. Law abiding prepared people will. Those that are not won’t be. Plan accordingly and be prepared to protect yourselves because nobody will be there to do it for you.

I am very, very serious about the last part.

Some new data being reported.

France: over 50% of persons in ICU are under the age of 60.

Tell your wife even us Jet fans appreciate her dedication.

Wishing you and her well.
