He's not gonna know everything but I think it's more about a good faith attempt by BB. Harry is going to be greatly improved this year. But I think if Tom sees a decent te and/or a solid wr, that'll go a long way. An incomplete picture but the deadline is wed 4pm.
If TBs not signed by then, he probably won't be. So the Pats have a very small window to make moves. Of course, they'll be trades etc. later.

I am not saying I definitely believe it, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the interest in Brady was never as robust as some had previously thought.

The NFCW is the toughest division in the NFL right now. The next would probably be the NFCN. The NFCS a/k/a the Bucs division, has the Saints and nobody else.
