I'm not panicking..If you cough in front of me I'll shoot you:)

People are being morons in varying ways about it. There's the panic buying hand soap people (were they not using it before?), then there's the worldwide governmental mismanagement of the situation.
My trip to the grocery store yesterday showed pretty much any form of disinfectant was sold out, and almost all of the toilet paper. If I go today I think some crisis buying of canned goods may well be setting in.

NHL refs just told to fly back home. NHL season can't go that deep into the summer with ice conditions and safety from that issue.

Will be interesting to see what they do.

Look it. I think Trump is a jerk almost every time he opens his mouth. He's mostly self serving and is devisive but aside from partisans automatically disagreeing with evry move he makes, pretty much no one took this as seriously as they should have. For cripes sakes he was slammed for banning travel from infected countries wasnt he? Hindsight is 20/20. Biden didn't have a solution either. Pretty much everyone was whisling past the graveyard and didn't understand the threat. I work at a hospital and they were too slow to react and prepare. Now they're scrambling. Tom Hanks doesnt have the virus because of Trump. Aside from germaphobes, how many of us didnt self limit our exposure because of Trump? I hate politics and coverage of it. CNN, MSNBC and Fox has panels of their guests evey night second guessing every word and move Trump or Trump's opponents say. Their agendas are crystal clear. So is yours.

Baloney.

And he didn't "ban travel" from anywhere - that's a talking point. AMERICAN carriers stopped flying from China, but Chinese carriers never slowed. Nor have any flights been banned from South Korea, Japan, etc.

It's not hindsight to say that the USA should have instituted testing and begun stocking up on millions of testing kits as soon as we learned of this (early January). That's not hindsight, it's protocol.

It's not hindsight to say that the White House Pandemic Response Team shouldn't have been canned.

The virus isn't Trump's fault, of course, and lots of people were going to get it because math.

The response, and lack thereof buck stops at one desk. He's so far over his ferret, he doesn't know what to do, and is surrounded by so much incompetence, he doesn't have anyone to hand it off to. The guests to whom you refer are almost always former pandemic response experts. Maybe the president should have been listening to them instead of saying, "We have 15 cases, soon to go to 0."

If he turned it over to Pence fully and just went to his golf club until it was over, we'd be better off.

Congress just had a briefing with the administration. Here’s GOP Senator James Lankford of OK, “That is not accurate right now. People should stop saying if you want a test, you should get a test right now. That’s not here at this point.” Added, “I don’t know that anyone is satisfied with where we are right now.”

Honestly, AB dying of coronavirus is probably the most fitting end to the whole saga :(

There'd be people on here who would still be pushing to sign him.

LOL!! You call it his exact words but you changed his "that" to "can" which completely misrepresents the meaning of what he was saying. Thank you for proving your dishonesty and that there really are suckers born every minute. Here is the full quote:

"I think the 3.4 percent [number] is really a false number. Now, this is just my hunch, but based on and lot of conversations with a lot of people that do this, because a lot of people will have this and it is very mild. They will get better very rapidly, they don’t even see a doctor or call doctor, you never hear about those people so you can’t put them down in the category, in overall population in terms of this corona flu, or virus. So you just can’t do that.

So if, you know, we have thousands or hundreds of thousands of people that get better, just by, you know, sitting around and even going to work, some of them go to work, but they get better and then, when you do have a death like you had in the state of Washington, like you had one in California, I believe you had one in New York, you know, all of a sudden it seems like 3 or 4 percent, which is a very high number, as opposed to a fraction of 1 percent."

Nowhere does he even remotely suggest people with it can or should go to work. He is talking about the mortality rate. His whole point is there will be people who get it, don't show symptoms (or have mild symptoms), continue going to work, get better, and never get recorded as a survival case, thereby skewing the mortality rate.

Sorry to embarrass you with... well, with facts.

The implication (whether intended or not) is one of, "Don't worry too much about it, who knows if it's flu, COVID-19, a cold, whatever, but do your thing, go to work if you want, don't sweat it too much. Who knows what the mortality rate is, it'll fluctuate, but it's cool, we're fine".

Needless to say (whether intended or not), that was an absolutely terrible message to communicate considering that this is a very easily spread SARS that will claim lives at a higher rate than a common cold or a seasonal flu.

Without getting too far down the political rabbit hole, I think the initial message from this administration, which was one of, "don't panic, we're all fine, go to work and do your thing" was intended to prevent short-term economic distress given that this is an election year; it's fairly clear at this point that a more serious, proactive, preemptive approach would have been far superior in terms of providing economic stability in the long-term.

if the NHL follows... the B’s gets screwed again!(best record)

But according to the Man With A Hunch, it's supposed to "magically" disappear by then. Right?
Lol dude give it a rest. There are legitimate reasons to criticize the administration for how they have handled this / the lack of preparation for such a possibility. Spinning his words about mortality rates of the virus into medical advice if you are infected is not one of them .

I don't think Truman or Ronnie threatened to slap a voter.
NH voters got it right.

Joe is in the beginning stages of dementia and touches young girls and women unappropriately.

Plus his combative exchange with the auto worker over gun rights was about as un-presidential as you can get

I'm not Trump fan but Uncle Joe was out of line.

Least his false teeth didnt fall out.

Total nutcase.
