Rumor from a friend in the know...

This isn’t an imaginary friend is it?

Brady will end up back with the Patriots, and this thread is bs.

Sadly the Amendola reunion was put on hold by Detroit offering a ton of money to him but the Brady deal is still a go according to my source. Both sides agree that the Pats are the best fit for Brady and the Pats. In the next week you will know more. The big hold up now is the CBA but if there is no resolution in place there is a deal in place that makes everyone happy.

So the things I were right about....

1. Amendola got paid a lot again by Detroit
2. the CBA is the big hold up in “finishing Brady’s contract” (what some crazy people believe is the start of talks)

Your Amendola prediction came after he already signed. This is a pathetic post. Whatever is happening with Brady, it is clear your “source” is bunk.

I've been saying for 2 months now that the Patriots won't act with the CBA up in the air unless they get to the point (March 18) where they have to. Otherwise they will want to craft a contract with the most information possible.

Has there been a legitimate update on Tua's health and recovery? When the injury happened, there was a chance it was so damaging that he might not ever run again, much less play football. Now he's being projected in the first round of the draft. What did I miss?

media loves to dramatize everything, he's a 21 year old world class athlete.. very few injuries that a world class athlete can't overcome, especially for a position like QB

If Brady returns why would Pats consider drafting a 1st round QB?

Are you saying Stidham is a bust without even giving him a chance?

Same reason the Packers drafted Rodgers in the first round with Favre still under contract. Brady, if he even comes back, would only be a short term bandaid to the QB position. No way he can be counted on more than 2 years, and you need to have someone to turn the reigns over to. If there is "that guy" in the 1st round this year when we pick then you absolutely have to take them even if they sit behind Brady for 2 years. That is actually the most ideal scenario that could possibly happen, short of Stidham turning into a HoFer

When it happened, one of the injuries that was on the table as possible included prolonged blood loss to the joint tissues, essentially requiring that he have a hip replacement to even walk again. That didn't happen, but there were no direct reports about that for months afterwards.

i think Brady signs for two years and maybe a bogus 3rd year...then the Pats double up and draft Jordan Love in the 1st rd. I got that from my source, which is me

I just took my "source" out for a walk, my terrific 4 1/2 year old dog.

I dropped two treats on the floor in front of him when we got back. The one on the right was "Brady stays," the one on the left was "Brady goes."

My source went for the one on the right. So, "Brady stays." End of discussion.

I'm gonna use Buck* from "Call of the Wild" as my source.

* NOT to be confused with "Uncle Buck" one of my idols

IF #12 goes elsewhere, I would NOT sign a JAG QB to start. Throw Stidham in and see what happens. Only way for him to get experience.

This would be a transition year for the Patriots....

Mariota if McDaniels believes in him

And if scaryota sucks, do we turn to Kessler?
I kind of hope they keep Cody Kessler as a developmental prospect. We could do worse in terms of PS quarterbacks.
