Titans to cut Dion Lewis

Whether it was a diminished skills issue, or a system fit issue, Lewis never repeated what he did in New England. And, to me, he never really looked as if he got comfortable and settled in while playing for the Titans.

He had 60 receptions in 2018; his diminished role has correlated with Henry's emergence as a three down back. I think on a cheap contract he would be fine, but I expect he'll move to the Giants or Chiefs or some other team where he'd be the top backup or third down back. I do worry a bit about the Chiefs picking him up and him regaining his 2017 form, he'd be absolutely lethal in that offense.

Main question for the Patriots is how Damien Harris is integrated into the offense and if his presence makes Burkhead's $3m expendable.

He could take over Michel pretty quickly

just has to go down on first contact and be useless as a receiver

He used to play just like I coached him..
.
hey, Sammy hope you are doing well. as far as lewis goes. I don't know how he made the comments he did about his old teammates. after going through what he did with them.

Man some of you guys get so bitter over heat of the moment type stuff. I'm glad our coach doesn't have the emotional maturity and vindictiveness of the 13 year old girls living inside of you boomers.

I'm not particularly interested in him given his production, but if he can score TDs about us he can make all the angry comments about our front office that he wants.

Deion Branch came back, Dion Lewis can too :)

A 30 year old RB who hasn’t done much in 2 years? Pass.

While I agree with this in general, I object to the idea that Boomers are more likely to be reactive like that on a message board.

And second, that's Boomer with a capital B, youngster!

And by the way, are your feet hanging off the sidewalk and on to the edge of my lawn?

Really? The team should sign any player, a-hole or not, who can score ... regardless of the trash they spew out of their pie holes?

Then what the hell are we waiting for? why not re-sign AB post haste?

How are all these posters throwing out a one year, $1.5 Million salary going to sell that to a guy who won't "go cheap"? :)

Have a little self respect. We’re Pats fans not Every Other Teams’ Schitass fans.

Unless you’re one of those Kraft buttbois who only care about the payoff! Wait, I didn’t mean that, I’m sure you’re A O K (if you know what I mean.).

This forum doesn’t seem to realize that running backs age like bread.

He is no Damien Harris!

Only watched TN in the playoffs, but boy did their running game look pedestrian once Lewis subbed for Henry. Intuitively, I'd think little, quick Lewis would be a complement to Henry's wrecking ball, but it didn't look that way.
