Tom Brady's Sister post on Facebook

If I had a sister, that is exactly how I would let everyone in New England know that I was leaving the Patriots without first finding out what the counter-offer from Bob Kraft might be.

It's not about the money.

It's about good players around Brady. The biggest contract does Brady no good if the team has to shop at the flea market for WRs and TEs. The Pat's drafting at skill positions has been disappointing.

Whenever I read or hear "it's not about the money," it's about the money.

He can't possibly spend it. So, it would just have to be about ego. So it sets up an internal ego battle about comparative QB compensation vs. a shot at 7 rings, 'cause he can't have both.

Jerry Jones is going to get dirty with Dak and float a possibility with Brady. It will a win win for Jerrah!

Her post doesn’t make any sense. Does she even live in Boston? And nobody cares about her.

Is she the “sister” that used to handle his social media back in the day?

Speak for yourself. That's pretty rude to say about a family member of a guy who most of us love and respect.

“No idea what the future holds”
It's “No idea what the future holds but we are excited.” How can you be "excited" if you don't know what's coming? Maybe Brady does something that disappoints everyone. o_O

This conflicts with the information from the other poster's friend's tax accountant's mechanic who said he was staying

The only thing Brady cares about is #7. He'll go to whatever team gives him the best chance, and right now it looks to be Tennessee of all the teams mentioned.

Don’t see how people are getting anything other than a big thank you from that? Like “thanks for supporting us over the years.” “No idea how this is going to play out.” Thats how I interpret it anyway.
Denial ain't a river in Egypt.

Wow....WHAT DOES THIS MEAN....its so bright and vivid....its so beautiful...o_Oo_Oo_O

I’m going to say don’t sleep on Detroit making a play for Brady.
It could be a interesting spot

Does that mean we’d get Stafford?

Brady has given a tremendous amount : effort, intensity, trophies... whatever happens, NE was never shortchanged.

Yeah, that's pretty much where I am. I'm not going to pretend posts like that don't suggest move the needle in the direction of him leaving, but I'm not sweating it because I'm okay with any outcome. I hope he stays, but if this is the end I'm totally cool with it. He gave us the best 20 years any athlete has ever given a fanbase.

Virtually un-tradable contract with Stafford and they are picking third. If they want to move on from Stafford they’ll likely pick Tua or Herbert and then trade Stafford when they can afford to. They can’t have two QBs accounting for like $50M in cap space. They also don’t appear to be close to win-now territory.
