OT: Wilder vs Fury 2.

“Feel free to suspend my credentials” is really priceless actually...
An instant classic. It's right up there with "passing the tourch" and "Ray Lewis killed a guy."

Tyson Fury is the superior boxer, and will box circles around Wilder. Should have won the first matchup, but boxing is a fake/corrupt sport, so they scored it a draw.

Awful...this is what this site has reverted to. I used to like to come here for anything Patriots. Now it seems like a bunch of trolls and haters. Mods...feel free to suspend my credentials. This is terrible...

I'm glad someone was brave enough to say it. I'm SICK of all the off topic posts and snarky posters.

as he gazes lovingly at his image in the hand held mirror....

OT stands for Off Topic.

I think Fury will destroy Wilder. Fury is by far the best technician as a boxer and if he is in shape there is no heavyweight at the moment that can win against without a KO.

Only chance Wilder has is his power. But since even an out of shape Fury could outbox him I can't see him land that devastating blow in a rematch either.

Who won?

His mechanics are awful, he's not the technician Tyson was but Wilder has an absolute cannon. Doesn't mind advertising it's coming. Just a monster puncher.

Now...we’re talking about boxing, that when UFC became mainstream everybody forgot about.

Good point. MMA is an objectively superior sport, so it makes sense that boxing has been pushed aside in favor of the UFC.

Looking forward to Khabib vs Tony. This will be the highest level fight in any combat sport this year.

Want: Wilder. He’s repping America as our first viable HW champ since the Klitchko era and he’s the most exciting fighter to watch because he can knock out anyone at any time in the fight

Think: Fury. He’s the most technically skilled heavyweight and he’s slowly getting back to his best. He is probably the one guy who is definitely capable of fighting perfectly against Wilder and avoiding a knockout

Who are you, again?

I am rooting for Wilder....he's an American and I like big hitters....he just needs an opening...and the fight will be over, IMO.

He needs to knock the dust off of Fury’s jaw this time, then. Fury was in la-la land after that two piece in the 12th (IIRC) in the last fight, but didn’t quit. He got hit hard enough for his eyes to roll into the back of his head, though. Fury’s defense became somewhat predictable the last time, but he’s still slippery as hell. And he won’t give up. If anything, I’d think that him having tits and being flabby will do him in.

Wilder did say that he was 'off' and should be able to hit more of his punches this time around. I think Wilder needs to do more damage with his jab and be patient. The last time I think Wilder expended too much energy in some rounds and spent the other rounds recovering....

He’d be fighting Fury’s fight, then. Fury is absolutely the better pure boxer of the two. But better boxers have still lost to heavy-handed opponents.

It is on now.
