I’m thinking McDaniels will be the head coach, Caserio the GM. Belichick will leave this franchise in great hands.

Doesn’t automatically mean that Brady is gone. Many a front office man has been through a dry streak as brutal as this one and many have turned it around.

My OP was meant to be funny, but I think Brady is leaving for other reasons.

We can pick apart bad draft choices or FA signings or trades he made
With Casserio in his current position we won 3 SB’s. So that means he has done some good.
Solidify’s another important management position.

Cal McNair must be the world’s biggest idiot in giving GM duties to Bill O’Brien. O’Brien just tanked the franchise by trading TWO first round picks for Laremy Tunsil, despite the QB sacks problem always being the major flaw of Watson and not the line. I guess if you lose and disappoint year after year, you get a promotion and more control...lol.

I am curious to know how they’ve gone from being arguably the best drafting team in the NFL from 2000-14 to the arguably the league’s worst drafting team from 2015-present. This isn’t an exaggeration. As good as they were for the fist 15 years, they’ve been that dismally bad for the last five. I don’t think you can chalk this up to bad luck or small sample size. It seems Belichick is countering that indeed, it is bad luck and small sample size, and they have the right personnel guys in place.
