They'll take Patriots' 2nd-round pick of the 2020 draft as a penalty.
I wonder how close to the draft they would be willing to steal another draft pick? Day of? Hopefully this delayed response is a good sign.
I totally forgot about this lol...

Because outside lawyers charge by the hour????Why does the NFL drag its feet with these "investigations"?

Seconded. There have been a dozen random “scandals” the past few years that were all resolved in a matter of days (Steelers practice violations, Giants walkie talkie, etc). Our current situation can now be measured on the level of MONTHS. This is absolutely ridiculous.
Which concerns me.I totally forgot about this lol...

If they lose another first round pick, they’ve brought it on themselves. That was either abject stupidity or out and out cheating. Ever got caught doing something you know you weren’t supposed to be doing? You could probably hear the brick that you were ****ting if you recorded your explanation and listened to it later. Well, that’s what the cameraman sounded like. Guy was obviously ****ting a brick. Could be because he knew he was about to get fired or it could be because he knew he just got caught cheating. Either way, I don’t think that’s going to be a good look for the team.
But, with all that said, there is good news. Our owner has made it a habit of taking it in the ass (probably while mouth breathing as per usual) during the last two supposed transgressions. This weird, new Kraft Fan contingent that has popped up on here in recent years has assured us with certainty that this was done in order to benefit the working relationship between the team and the NFL. So maybe we won’t lose a pick for this after all. You know... for the good of the 32. Stay tuned.
Because they want people to forget about the incident which started the whole thing. Then, when everyone has moved on, they announce what they want. Why does the NFL drag its feet with these "investigations"?
I wish I could bring myself to actually care about the Red Sox' penatly. Now watch the Sox penalty be announced the same day as this one. Great way to start your weekend!
