Will anyone watch the XFL this weekend?

Kickoff really is great.

Announcers telling QBs to change their arm angle. Interviews 2 mins after throwing a pick 6. Some of the **** can't be taken seriously but there's enough good players not on a roster to become a "showcase" league but they have own that 100%.

Interviewing guys after they screw up is pretty funny.

Review transparency is extremely good.

Honestly the XFL is doing a lot right.

Miking the coaches and refs is stupid. They even put betting odds with the score. This is rinky dink B.S.

Doing that to the refs isn’t BS at all. Doing it with the coaches is a bit odd.

I am absolutely loving the head ref being miked up and him communicating with his crew and the review staff. That’s some really good stuff. They nailed it. The NFL needs to take some notes.

If this all is happening real time what's to prevent the other team's DC from listening to the play call? The interviews with players make it a circus.

I said doing it with the coaches is odd. You said doing it with the refs was dumb too which is stupid. Transparency with the officials is awesome and the XFL nailed it. I’m sure they will do things differently and fix stuff as it goes along.

Just wait until a ref says something a coach or player takes exception to that they wouldn't have heard otherwise and all hell breaks loose. But I suppose WWF fans love that sort of thing.

Yea, you’re right. Transparency definitely is a bad thing. Imagine being someone who thinks liking the XFL rules = being a WWE fan. Yikes, man.

Too much transparency is a bad thing, absolutely. Enjoy your silly fake football reality show. ;)

It's not real time. I think I read earlier that there was something like a 35-second delay, so by the time the play call was broadcast on TV, the actual play would already be over.

Another good game today.

I will say I am disappointed in the parents of the Los Angeles QB, Kanoff. If they had any sense of humour at all, they would have named their son Jack.

This transparency is fantastic. I don’t know what else to say about it. The NFL looks like **** compared to what the XFL is doing.

That's starting this weekend? I've been watching MLR all day and gonna catch the Free Jacks in Vegas tomorrow.

I really like this. I was afraid it would be like the last XFL which was all hype and the play was just bad. This isn't at all. And the kickoff is great, the replay booth being miked up is helpful (not sure about the head ref yet), and the pace of the game feels good.

It's not bad at all.

For some reason, it reminds me of that movie, The Replacements. Hah.

I feel like you guys are talking me into WWIII. If I turn on a football game I fear that my girlfriend's head will explode. She was great through the NFL season but she's made it clear that she's happy Sunday is ours now. It's really the only day we have because of our work schedules.
