OT: The Revis and Sherman beef

Does anyone remember Sherman talking **** about Revis when the Seahawks scored for the last time to go up 24-14 in SB XLIX? If I remember correctly, it was a rub route that sprang the WR open....and Sherman looked at the TV camera and said, "2-4, Touchdown!".

I found it interesting that these two still have a beef apparently.....

The judge actually takes a step forward at the snap INTO Revis’ path.

However, Old, fat, lazy Revis stealing money from the Jets was my favorite version of Revis, even above Still Good Revis That We Had To Pretend We Liked Cause He Played For Us.

I'd have to agree, Revis at his peak was probably a more singular player than Sherman was at his, but I loved watching Fat Endgame Revis most of all. Dude brought me such a transcendent level of Jets Schadenfreude that I cannot award his second tenure with the NYJ anything less than the fabled score of 24 out of 0 that was thusly prophesied by the New York sports media.

Brady threw a 2-yard out to Gronk on the first play of the game, and Sherman made the tackle. That was the last time Sherman’s man was targeted for all of SB49. I don’t think Sherman is to blame for the Seahawks loss there. It is amazing that the Patriots could score 28 points despite basically having a huge off-limits area in terms of where to attack.

I'll take Revis.

Juszczyk a bit better
Gronk much better (although I do love Kittle)

Both are/were great players, but Prime Revis was special in a way Sherman never, ever was.

That said their beef is terminally dumb.
