I'm interested to see what people think. You can rank them on whatever criteria you want, as long as it was a completed pass thrown by a Patriot to a Patriot. [So no drops, opponent passes, or picks.]

I'll post my full list a little later, but I'll start with one that is a no-brainer for me.

Edelman to Amendola, 2014 playoffs vs. Ravens. The pass we'd all been waiting six years for, in one of the most important moments of the season.

Edelman to Amendola. The rest are unranked but that pass is probably #1 for me.

Brady bomb to Moss Week 1 against the Jets. Changed everything. We all knew we were witnessing the start of something special (and also when Brady took a step up, strange as that sounds).

Brady to Brown in the drive against the Rams. Chunk play, instrumental to the win. “He’s beginning to believe” — the Matrix

Brady to Gronk 35 yard pass in the loss to Denver in ‘15. Both players had the **** beaten out of them all day and they still put that together at the end. Heroic.

This one is random and is in the dustbin of history but Cassell hit Moss on a TD drive against the Jets late in the season. It was a thing of beauty, sort of like the Santonio Holmes catch in the Super Bowl. In the moment I thought it was one of the best plays I’ve ever seen. I might not have the details right but still stands out to me.

I’m not saying those are the top 5 but they just jumped out right away. Dozens of others obviously: Edelman GOAT catch vs Falcons, Thompkins catch vs Saints, Hogan flea flicker vs Steelers, the play in Kontra’s sig, any of Vrabel’s TDs, the bombs when they picked on that Steelers DB talking trash, Gronks final catch, Brady to Watson TDs against the Bills...

Got it right. Fourth down to tie the game and send it into OT. Perfect pass to the corner of the end zone. Capped off a gorgeous two-minute drill.

Cannot find it right now, but early on around '01, Brady threw a pass to Troy Brown in a very close Miami game and they won the game.

Was at a friends home who is a rabid Miami, and remember getting on my hands and knees banging on his floor we are going to the "F'ing Superbowl"...

There are so many more the miracle catch of Edelman in SB 51 comes to mind....

If by century, you mean whenever ... here are a few

Bledsoe to Glenn, 1996

Brady to Moss, 2007

Brady to Gronk, 2014

It was incomplete but maybe the best Brady throw I’ve seen was a 50 yard laser in the corner of the end zone to Moss in the 2007 Cowboys game. It was incomplete by inches because Moss bobbled it a little.

EDIT

holy **** I found it. At 9:55

Plunkett to Windsor to beat the Vikings in 1974.

The day I became a Pats fan.
It cost Windsor his knee and maybe his career but that tough SOB willed himself into the end zone for the game winning TD....

Not this century- Bledsoe with a broken finger to Jefferson for a game winning TD to complete a comeback win over Miami..

This century- If Brady hits Moss in the dying seconds of the last game of the 2007 season like he just about did... would have been the greatest pass and catch of all time.

Great pass, thanks for posting. Looks like a 20 yard pass, then you see Brady was standing on the star when he threw it (5 yards into the endzone too).

Gotta be a stanley steamer catch in the mix???

Who can forget this thing of beauty?

My list:
  • Edelman to Amendola, 2014 playoffs vs. Ravens.
  • Brady to Branch, 2004 AFCCG vs. Steelers.
  • Brady to Moss (first TD), 2007 vs. Miami.
  • Brady to GRONK (GRONK's last catch), SB53.
  • Cassel to Moss, Week 1 of 2008.
A note on that last one: Cassel was standing in the Pats' end zone on that one. What should have been an attempted dumpoff turned into an absolutely beautiful 50-yard pass. I honestly believe that without that pass, the season turns out very differently.
