he made bodily contact with him though, DaB..with his back to the play. The ball was well short however. I think it was one of those "everyone's watching me in this Super Bowl" ref calls. Shanahan could've thrown his red flag, right?

Doesn't matter if there is contact made. If the ball is uncatchable, it's a non-call. That's how the rule is written, anyways.. And we saw it called that way several times both for and against the Pats this season.

Yes, Shanahan should have thrown his red flag on it..

Where’s Sir-Mix-a- Lot when you need him?

If it was uncatchable, then it shouldn't have been called. Also, face guarding isn't DPI and hasn't been for over a decade.. if not more.
It wasn't uncatchable. Also, face guarding most certainly is DPI when the DB makes contact, which he did in spades on that play. Even if he had turned his head they likely would have called DPI. It wasn't handchecking. He ran into Kelce.

I’m gonna have to change my vote now.

Final thoughts..

That Shakira is one piece of ACE.

chiefs players talking dynasty already.

the pats need to kill it this offseason on offense, something they haven't done in quite some time.

So the chefs have been installed as favorites next year as well. They really mahomey to be the next great one .

They forgot the Chiefs will be reaching VERY DEEP into their pockets to lock in Mahomes. Once they're done with that they can say goodbye to half of that offense.

I think people that know nothing about Kansas City other than that it is referred to as Kansas City, MO are making fools of themselves. KC sits right on the border of Kansas and Missouri. Half is in Kansas, half is in Missouri. Trust me, people in Kansas very much claim the Chiefs. I lived there.

C'mon man. He said "the great state of Kansas"

Not "the great states who call the Kansas City Chiefs their home team"

He made a grade school mistake and you know it. It's ok, worse things have happened, but if you can't accept this and have to try to warp reality to make it not a mistake you're a lost cause.

Holy **** George Kittle was blocking on that 4th and 10 not running a route. The **** is Kyle thinking

Seattle had a dynasty as well oh wait... bb/Brady will clown these fools next year

You are taking what I said completely out of context. Everything you said has zero bearing on what my statement was because my statement was in strict regards to the rule itself.

Next, You're wrong about face guarding. Face guarding ( a DB having his hand up in front of the receiver's face) has ZERO bearing on DPI. They took it out of the rules more than a decade ago. If the DB is swatting the WR in the helmet, that's not face guarding. That's DPI. And running into Kelce isn't face guarding either. That's DPI.

Darrelle Revis goin crazy rn He bout to host a coverage seminar tmrw LMFAO

Honestly, what is wrong with that post? As an older dude, I might not be aware of many slang terms (sorry!).

Actually, I figured it out. If that was done on purpose, yes, very bad.

Reid got his SB win on his 222nd game which was his 2nd Superbowl. His 2nd year starter threw 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. He won on 2/2/20.

Interesting..

He’s the same age as Gronk. You expect him to remain at a high level for 5 more years?

I didn’t realize Kelce was that old.
Having said that, he has been much more durable than Gronk I think he has 2-3 All Pro years left and probably 2-3 “solid years” after that.
Gronk was amazing in spurts but hard to count on to stay off IR.

Oh, he most certainly did.

Yup, for anyone who wants to avoid making an enormous gaffe.

Aren't you the one who doesn't care for baseball discussions in the football forum? But politics is fine?

Btw, I don't remember seeing any discussion here when our last POTUS got confused (apparently by his ketchup bottle) over how many states there are in the USA. Or Joe Biden confusing what state he's in on multiple occasions.

Since some folks here feel the need to argue with conservatives, here's a place for that. Good luck...

What I don't get is why there are so many defensive players who can't turn and look as they're defending a pass. That was way under thrown and should have been a pick.

So I guess all the people who wished we kept Garoppolo over Brady can shut the F up now.
