PFT...Brady to the Dolphins Rumors Gaining Steam

Why on earth would the colts take Rivers over Brady? You're soft in the head if you think they'll prefer Captain Also-Ran and his amazing powers of completely disappearing when it really matters, over a guy who has literally redefined what it is to be a clutch football player. Especially because Captain Also-Ran is also on the back 9

I mean, give me the choice between a 38 year old who's done literally nothing, and a 42 year old who's won the Superbowl 6 times, and I'm not taking the 38 year old.

I might not take Brady either, but if I'm not taking Brady, it's probably for reasons that rule Rivers out too (no big money for old players, or drafting a young guy, or see promise in one of Jacoby Brissett and Chad Kelly)

They probably think Brady’s free agency is a smoke screen, especially after getting burned by Josh McD.

I'm sorry, there's a difference between what they think and what you're hoping they think

Weren’t you asking for a reason the Colts might sign Rivers over Brady? And pretending to know which quarterback is better for them, when you have absolutely no clue? A legitimate reason why any team would take Rivers is because Rivers and the Chargers are done. A team is likely going to need to take a chance on Brady and potentially let another free agent QB sign somewhere else.

One team to at least look at is the Colts. Jacoby Brissett didn't wow them and is on the last year of his deal. They fell to 7-9 after being on a 10 win pace at the half, so there's some talent there.
And the Colts have a much better OL. Peace of mind, esp. with the 50/50 chance our best guy, Thuney, leaves and our great position coach, Dante, has retired.

The dome stadium is also good for the old body in the winter.

Alright this thread has been dumped to 3rd ... trounced by $30 million and Raidah's.

This is BS

1 month in Tennessee will feel like 3 years in Boston...

Actually, just spent 3 hours with someone from Nashville, and now I believe that 1 month in Tennessee will feel like 10 years in hell.

“At least one league source has suggested that a sale to Beal is possible not long after Miami’s concludes its Super Bowl hosting duties.”

Whoa, why isn’t this a bigger story? Wherever Brady does what's he's going to do for the next couple of years has nowhere near the potential long term impact that the Phins being in the hands of a (possibly) competent owner would.

Bruce Beal is from Boston with deep roots in the arts community. Interesting.

Miami also would put Brady and his wife, Gisele Bundchen, in much closer proximity to Costa Rica (where the family has a home) and Brazil (Bundchen’s native country).

Lol. Not one of Florio’s better takes. o_O

"Tommy, Tommy, we would not even have to refuel this way! What is more important?"

That is a great argument but Rivers is going to the Colts instead of Tom.

Which teams can afford to wait for Tom Brady? - ProFootballTalk

Colts: Like the Titans and the Bucs, the Colts may need to move quickly if they hope to upgrade from Jacoby Brissett. And if they’re thinking about someone like Philip Rivers or Teddy Bridgewater, they could be long gone by the time Brady shoots white smoke up his chimney.

Report: Colts have interest in Philip Rivers - ProFootballTalk

Report is another word for rumor in the offseason.

Miami is supposed to be the all rookie team this season right? Brady should like that.

Still pulling for the Raiders option IF he must leave...

this whole thing is wicked retahted

No one knows nothing about what's going on, to the extent anything at all is actually going on.

But, things would have to have deteriorated between Brady and the Krafts/Belichick to an unimaginable degree for him to go to a Division Rival...I just don't think that would be the case....but then again, no one knows nothing.

Maybe we can persuade TB to tell Miami,

TB:
"Ok, I'll sign with you (Miami) but you need to give your #5 pick in the 2020 draft to the
Patriots...."

Mr. Ross (Owner):
"If you guarantee that we will beat the Patriots in the regular season both times, I'll do it..."

Well at least one of those wins is guaranteed anyway.

Does your dog have balls? I haven’t seen balls on a dog since the early 90’s:D

Why did you say that?

I don’t want to look, but I probably will, and it’s all your fault.
