Report: Duh!

Don't understand why he would want to play for that cesspool and dumb and dumber looking owner.

“League sources” lol. How is this not tampering?

Don’t worry about it. The League has been fully investigating the Do Your Job film crew for over two months. They’ll surely look into your concerns with the same zeal.

I want Brady back.

That said, it would be hilarious to hear all the Oakland fans out here (who stay with the team when they move) tie themselves in knots justifying rooting for Brady, whom they have incessantly talked **** about for the past two decades.

brady isn’t dumb enough to go from Belichick to Gruden.

Can you imagine the same fans that cried foul after the tuck rule will now be rooting for him? All these reports are starting to get tiresome. I just wish the drama would end and we would know for sure what was going to happen . And how on earth can the Raiders even talk about this before the official free agency starts ? Let's see if the clown commissioner takes away a draft pick from them for tampering !!!!

I liked Carr. Think he could have done well with adult leadership

Raiders have zero WRs

Here's the big thing. Brady could go literally anywhere else and command both better pay and a level of A-list treatment he does not receiver with the Patriots because of Belichick's system.

Yes he's trading the luxury of finishing his legacy here and being part of a top tier organization, but he's also playing with house money at this point. Nobody is even going to be close to a position to challenge his legacy for the better part of two decades if that.

Beyond that, he knows we lose something too if he doesn't stay. The Pats are a healthy offense and maybe one or two pieces at WR that can be consistent from being a top tier Super Bowl contender next year. Without Brady that completely changes.

On the flip coin, no way Brady wins elsewhere without Belichick. No way at 42 he goes to start all over again with a new offense, new coordinator, new coach, new players, etc. I just don't see it happening, and I bet you that that's a big part of Brady's reservations about going elsewhere this late in his career.

Two thoughts here:

First, at this point, I think only two things really matter to Brady career-wise: playing at a high caliber as long as possible, and competing for Lombardis.

Second, the Patriots and Brady agreed to set the contract up this way. So they must have some clue where they want things to go in the next two months.

As fans, I doubt that we’ll know anything in the next 6 weeks. At least that’s what Tom suggested in his interview, yesterday.

I want Brady back, but not with the current cast of craptastic bust NKeal Harry, Slow As Molasses Sanu, 78 year old Edelman, Jakobi "I spell my name wrong" Myers, and the 2 clowns who played TE last year. Why on God's green earth would you pay Brady $30M so he can NOT throw to guys because they ran an 8 yard pattern at 7 3/4 yards? Makes no sense....

Only way Brady should come back is if Antonio Brown makes a miraculous recovery and suddenly becomes St. Francis of Assisi and behaves himself and the Pats sign him, they bring back Amendola, Gronkowski comes out of retirement, or Deion Branch finds a time machine and Malcolm Mitchell gets 2 new legs...

Brady is NOT going to suddenly mesh with anyone who comes in at the WR spot. Of all the WR FREE AGENTS (Moss, Welker were trades) to come to NE in Brady's 20 years with the team, you can count on both hands the # of guys who've "gotten" it with Brady - Stallworth, Lloyd (most would say "NO" on Lloyd), Amendola, LaFell (most people here thought he sucked; I don't), A Brown, (for half of one game, so he might not even count), Gordon (I guess) Gaffney maybe?...Reche Caldwell?

So please tell me what FA receiver is going to come here and "click" with Brady - but don't forget Krafty Bob usually doesn't let George, Abe, and Andrew see the light of day...
