It's Goodell's NFL....Sort of Alice in Wonderland, what's up is down, what's down is up....
Science doesn't matter and a guy who beats his child with a switch gets an integrity award......

I missed the first part, did Jeffrey Dahmer win the Walter Payton Award??

.

Let’s say, for the sake of argument, that AP is actually the most sportsmanlike player of the last decade and that - on the field - he exemplifies everything this award stands for. Who is in that meeting and saying “yes, let’s award AP” ? No one in that room is standing up and saying “guys, this is bonkers... we can’t do this” ? I know the League is crazy, but really ?

OK - all is right with the world again - Calais Campbell won it. Certainly seems like a great guy.

This is basically a facelift for a guy that’s retiring and whose image the league is desperately trying to clean up. Should call it the Ray Lewis Award. There isn’t an organization scummier on earth than the NFL.

I mean call me naive, but I sorta believe a guy who whipped his child's scrotum should probably not be up for awards unless it's the Pedophile BDSM sportsman of the year.

And Michael Vick was an honorary captain the the NFL's Pro Bowl..

Gotta wonder how the NFL picks and chooses any of this stuff.. there are so many really honorable players, why pick from the bottom??

you know ray Lewis didn’t really kill anybody though right

...at least he's dead and can't be on a cooking show

The NFL by nature is a violent sport with its fair share of thugs...but it shouldn’t go out if it’s way to celebrate these mongrels with awards...ever.

The NCAA could give them a run for their money.

The NYFL is trying to clean up AP's image but are fine with trying to destroy TB's.

I can't wait for the day that I can dump the NYFL for good.

that man has more awards than you can shake a stick at.

well the Pro Bowl always is a real dog of a game.

Integrity can be defined as behaving in a manner consistent with one's beliefs, particularly in the face of opposition or disapproval.

When he whipped his children, Peterson did that in the face of public outrage. In that regard, he showed great integrity.

What's the problem here? ;)
