TMZ reporting the passing of Kobe Bryant

I’m a loss for words about the loss of Kobe and his daughter. My thoughts are with the Bryant family and the families of all who were lost. A very sad day.

RIP to a great one and his daughter. Kobe meant a lot to so many people and I don’t know what to say about a teenager losing her life. Just sad.

Sheriff also ripped TMZ speculating who was on board.

Regardless, 9 people dying in a helicopter crash is horrible.

Seems odd to go after TMZ, given the two reports of theirs that I saw (On both their main and TMZ Sports handles) have been both confirmed; that Kobe was onboard and then an hour and twenty minutes later that his daughter was...

Certainly there were misreports; that Rick Fox was on there or that all four of Kobe’s daughter were....but neither of those emanated from TMZ.

Then again this is LA Law Enforcement we’re talking about. I’ve lived in equal sized large cities in Third World countries who are less Keystone Cops than the LAPD/LA Sheriff are.

Ha ha yeah right. She is toast. I’m going to read her tweet comments on that post to see how she gets annihilated.
Agree. For what it's worth though, which probably wont be much, someone pointed out in the comments that she had actually already referred to them as the Los Angeles Knicks earlier in the broadcast so she was actually mixed up evidently. Could have just been a mistake, but that's not a mistake you're allowed to make.

NTSB on now.

I'm guessing she wakes up everyday before work repeatedly saying to herself, "Don't say the N word on national television, don't say the N word on national television, don't say the N word on national television.."
How about eliminating the word from her vocabulary. RIP Mr. Bryant and daughter.

It sounded like nakers to me, kinda rhymed with the way she followed up “Lakers” but who knows maybe we hear what we want to hear...

Nothing worse than a dishonest apology .... it will just get worse .
Played it for Mrs RW and she heard, "Nickers". I dunno know. I heard different.

There’s a video circulating on YouTube of the crash and it looks legit.☹️ Unreal.

That being said RIP Kobe and the others on the copter as well, very sad...

I saw that too. I get it everybody makes mistakes. But in this social media era we live in, a mistake like this gets you fired.

Suddenly the Pats losing a playoff game. Or who you want to win a SB doesn't matter much anymore. What a crushing blow.

Just asking ... sorry.

You made a statement saying it was odd.. I asked how it was odd while citing pretty specific items about how it wouldn't be odd since the even had just occurred.. I didn't attack you. Didn't malign you.. Just asked a simple question.

One sad thing about this tragedy is that kobe i believe nor his parents ever made peace with each other.
