I was just coming here to encourage everyone to sleep in separate beds. I think it’s the best thing that ever happened to my marriage. You need some time in your life just to yourself. When married couples tell me about their problems waking each other up, I cringe. I love the couch.

Couldn't agree more. I've been pretty good with teh 'sacrificing' portion of a marriage but i i really fuggin miss having my own bed. Unless we're getting it on I just don't see any value in sharing a bed with someone. With 3 kids all the beds are occupied :/

My wife and I also sleep in separate beds and I felt weird about it 'til finding out it's a pretty common thing. (Fact is she's a restless sleeper, known to snore like a freight train.)

My husband snores, snoring to me is like nails on a chalk board lol, we have separate rooms. Definitely not as uncommon as some think. Love the guy to death just can’t sleep next to him.
