But the irony will be delicious if the TOURCH is passed from Tommy to Jimmy, which is a real torch passing, the knowledge from mentor to mentee.

Can Mahomes win a Super Bowl with Deion Branch, Troy Brown, Bethel Johnson, and David Givens as receivers? No. Until he does win one with those types, he's basically Rodgers, John Elway or Brett Favre.

Merely a year after winning the MVP, Mahomy has fallen off a cliff: TD dramatically dropped from 50 to just 26, he threw for over a 1,000 less yards than last year, avg yds per completion dropped by 0.5 yard, RTG dropped by 7.5%, already has missed 2 games due to injuries.

At this rate Mahomy will be out of the league within a few years. The tourche take is a FAIL.

We're not seeing what NEP have done ever again. Maybe someone comes along and has a great 3-5 stretch but that's it. 20 years of dominance isn't real.

Chiefs like to tout themselves as the best fanbase in the NFL.

The Chiefs still have trouble selling tickets. Tickets were still on sale throughout the regular season and prior to the 2019 season AFCC. Lately, hardly a day goes by that there is not a TV add for KC Chiefs 2020 season tickets. These same people were bad mouthing NE fans for booing the Patriots. Well, the best fans in NFL were booing their hometown heroes last week when Houston went up 24 - 0.

They have the worst fans in the NFL. 31st is not giving them their due.

I live amongst them. Fans are coming out of the woodwork.I have never seen so many Chiefs license plates and those idiotic car flags since I moved here in 1996. Speaking of which I took my mother to the NE vs KC game during Pete Carrols first season in 1997. We were sitting there minding out business and one of these dbags threatened my mother for being a fan of the opposing team. Thats how they are. I have been to Arrowhead several times and there is always trouble brewing.

KC fans live their lives through the football team. Pathetic.

Mahomes is a great talent. So was Aaron Rodgers circa 2010-11. After his transcendent skills were on display, few would have guessed how little he’d have to show for it over the next decade when it comes to winning. Mahomes will get paid big bucks, a reduced supporting cast, and the challenges of the modern QB no longer on a rookie deal. That’s why everyone thinks this thread is very premature. You’re on here chest thumping when the real test for Mahomes is in about 10 days, acting like he’s already been victorious.

Great talent. Talent is one component of the success you think Mahomes is destined for.
