100% the same here. The end of the Yankees dynasty was ironically when I lost interest in baseball. Too many playoff teams, elimination rounds. They were good for baseball because you were obsessed with them for better or worse.

I would ask you what makes him non likeable? He's fun to watch, plays hard, is a good leader, doesn't quit. Acts humble, by all appearances is good guy, helps the community etc... not sure how anyone can dislike the kid...

He has constantly cheated on his girlfriend since becoming famous. In what world would a guy like this not be portrayed as Saintly? The NFL believes they have equivalent of Steph Curry. He is mixed race (I say that only as a point that he has very wide fan appeal across all demographics), among the most physically gifted QBs ever, and hasn’t been overexposed yet. Do you think when they turn on the cameras he is going to appear anything other than humble and totally relatable?

I got a Switch a couple weeks ago and was stealing time with it while my wife ran errands with the baby, so yeah I didn't watch.

It's like I said in another thread, there are 33 NFL teams....the 32 and the Patriot hater bandwagon....and the 33rd team is the LARGEST fan base, IMO.

Crazy thing was that it was a competitive game for three quarters unlike the NFCC.

Maybe the NFL should figure out the Patriots vs TB popularity? Force TB to be on another team and ensure that team makes the AFCCG. Or even better the Patriots vs TB's team

I don't hate Mahomes but I find him far from likable. On the field he's self-glorifying and plays to the crowd a bit much. As effective as he is I find his style of play irritating with those show-offy "no-look" passes, etc. And I can't get "punky high school kid" out of my head whenever I see him on TV.
