OT: The Revis and Sherman beef

Richard Sherman, Darrelle Revis Trade Shots In Testy Twitter Exchange

Does anyone remember Sherman talking **** about Revis when the Seahawks scored for the last time to go up 24-14 in SB XLIX? If I remember correctly, it was a rub route that sprang the WR open....and Sherman looked at the TV camera and said, "2-4, Touchdown!".

I found it interesting that these two still have a beef apparently.....

Revis is just being a clown. Dude did nothing after 2014.

But yeah he only gave up that td in the Super Bowl because the ref got in his way.

Sherman is 31 and still a baller after an Achilles injury.

I’ll take prime revis or prime Sherman but revis really needs to stop talking

Sherman's great imo, who cares if he stays on one side. Still eliminates one side. And if SF wins another SB then Sherman will be a part of two great Ds that won SB.

Not a good look to be criticizing someone from your couch while they head to the super bowl. Especially when at Sherman’s age Revis was nowhere near the player Sherman currently is.

Revis sounds salty over something. Sherman is playing amazing for someone coming off an achilles injury over the age of 30.

Revis... I remember your last two years in the league. You were horrible on the Jets in 16 and you gave no effort in KC in 2017.

He does it well enough to know to blame “hackers” for something he said on IG. He isn’t wrong here, though. Sherman is a zone guy. He isn’t a man cover corner. There’s a reason why Sherman came out of the corner swinging after Revis said it... because he knows it’s true.

Pats fans legitimately get furious over this guy. I can understand Nick Wright although I think you're slow for doing so but again I can grasp that. This guy sends his bro overdosed on bud and NEP fall for it every time.

True and prime Revis was one of the best to ever it. I hate when people put too much weight in man/zone though.

I gotta respect Richard Sherman. He won once in Seattle almost twice, now taking SF on a nice ride. Seattle's secondary declined when he left. Revis comes off very insecure here. Sherman is a sure HOF'er and his off the field community stuff is also very commendable

prime revis better than prime Sherman but I don’t think that argument is fair unless you can pick out numerous instances of Sherman getting beat. Can’t blame Sherman If the other guys don’t do their job

They certainly tried though. Seahawks walked down the field with ease on that last drive. Then the miracle catch. Then Beast mode to the 1 yard line. Had Carroll not imploded and just handed the ball off again they probably would’ve won the game and we’d be having a different conversation.
