He looks bigger than 260-265? Hes an animal. Forget abt 1st off the ball. He's a step on before some (his own teammates lol) move. Enormous w that ability to dip. What a prospect.

That's freakish.. He looks like a special talent to say the least

Chase Young is less technique defined but he is a lot more freakish than Bosa

Agreed but the Bosa Bros were technicians far beyond most rookies. Young has shown good hands, ability to read some blocks, has a plan, can attack almost anywhere, knows how reduce his surface...

Maybe slightly behind Joey & slightly ahead of Nick when you talk abt total package?

I would've had Nick around his bro if not for his injuries.

I put Clowney, Young, and Bosa all in the same tier coming out

Knew I forgot someone (or 2)...Myles Garrett too

J. Bosa>Clowney>Garrett>Young>Chubb>N. Bosa in my evaluations

Had these prospects as HOF/Elite
Myles at 9.79
Joey 9.55
Mack 9.51
.....High Impact
Chubb 9.38
Clowney 9.22
Nick 8.74 (ACL/Injuries)

If I was "ranking" Id probably have Nick higher. Love his game. Sometimes I get players I dont really like that much come up w good #'s & the opposite in Nicks case again bc of injuries. Love Young too. He's an animal. Looks, moves different. He stays healthy he should get some Heisman votes.

His power is so noticeable. Anytime is engaged his able to use an armbar, find the hands, lift & disengage. His ability to barrel through contact is so impressive. Combine that w his ability to jump the snap & he's on top of you w the quickness. Can play 1/2 man. Honestly not a lot he can't do. Easy eval.

Go get that $ dummy. Don't leave 25-30 million guaranteed

he doesn’t stand a chance of going #1 or #2 next year unless Trevor Lawerence and fields don’t declare?!

lawrence is definitely coming out next year. That dude is the best player in college football.

Zack Baun is someone to keep in mind. Not sure where he'll play but he can do it all and could be a KVN replacement if/when he gets paid by another team.

Baun is a better pass rusher. + First step. + Hands. A bit inconsistent with placement at times but he's very effective when he is on point. Various moves to choose from. Lined up everywhere, different stances. Tough. Loves football. Quick & can work in short areas.
Ideal RD 2 guy

Taylor of tenn. had a weak start to the season, but got better and I like him as a de/olb in our defense,

Also like him too, has all the physical tools and would be a great value in 3rd-4th round.
Has limited pass rush moves and is inconsistent, but I think it's fixable

saw some film of this guy. He looks like he is under 230 pounds. Seems very light for a bb defense.

He's listed at 235 but in my post I mentioned his would-be role here as a KVN replacement who came out at 240.

If he declares what’s your thoughts on K'Lavon Chaisson?

Another guy is Taylor from Tennessee, He could be the best guy not named chase young depending if he can put his whole game together.

Like both.
Chaisson is around 240-250 so you'd probably think he'll have to add some weight. Should spend all off-season trying to improve his hands even tho he looked better in that department this year. His get off & flexibility jump on screen. Those usually translate next level. Taylor a bit more refined but probably not as explosive. Very solid player. Not great at anything but no huge weakness rushing the QB. Curious where teams like Taylor as Chaisson looks like a classic 34 OLB.

Another guy that might work as a replacement for van noy is Jennings of Alabama.

he is not the greatest at rushing the passer, but he is versatile and can set the edge.
