OT: Netflix Hernandez series

I watched it and I thought it was very good. I was very interested in what Ryan O’Callaghan had to say about being closeted in the NFL. He broke my heart a bit.

As for AH, I just ended up feeling that he was so tormented there was no way it could ever have ended well. It seemed like there were a combination of things that contributed to his being a total loose cannon.

There was a lot of Patriots footage particularly in episode 2.

And yeah, I had a pang when AH requested Harry Potter books for his cell reading.

Avoiding it. I am so done with all things AH.

Watched "The King" instead two nights ago. Pretty decent.

Watching the new "Dracula" series. Not bad.

Plan on watching "The Two Popes"

This is where I am at. And "Two Popes" was pretty good...watched it on a plane a few weeks back. "King" was okay....

I wasn't aware of all the details concerning his case, so for me this documentation was pretty interesting. Watched all three episodes yesterday.
When they talked about CTE at the end as a potential reason for his behaviour, I was sooo reminded of AB. Give that guy a couple more years of self-destruction and we'll have another netflix documentation some day...

Watched first episode, a lot of the stuff anyone who followed the case already knew. Seems like they stole a lot of the reporting from the Boston Globe's series and podcast.

They need to just go ahead and make this into a movie. All these documentaries just keep repeating the same details.

Documentaries are movies.

Watched the first episode also. A lot we already knew, but the part that hit hardest was the recorded call with his mom when he told her she f**ked up his life. He’s right, his mom hooking up with his cousins boyfriend right after his Dad died started his decent. He left his home to go live with his cousin and met the criminals who he began hanging with.
Jesus, spoiler alert lol...does he die in the end too?

I saw much of episode 1 but fell asleep. Seems like a tale of two guys...the fun loving, straight edge guy from high school or the guy who went to college and broke bad. Really a strange case if you’re an NFL team looking at his behavior. Would be easy to conclude he had bad influences at UF because none of that behavior was there prior. He wasn’t a gang banger or anything like that as a teen as had been previously rumored. Looking forward to seeing the rest.
i blame the thug Pouncey brothers

I'll pass.

Waiting for the docu series "Early Bird Bob - How to get off as an NFL owner."

Shooting was ended prematurely when Jeffrey Epstein, who was going to portray Robert Kraft, died in his cell by hanging himself, in an eerily similar fashion to the way Aaron Hernandez committed suicide.

The same Aaron Hernandez who once ripped Kraft as “fake-azz non-loyal Kraft who told me he loved me everytime he seen me but obviously shows his word aint &%^$."

I'm hoping they don't portray Bristol as the mean streets?

Netflix standards for accuracy in documentaries is very concerning. They have a ton of stuff out there promoting quack medicine, conspiracy theories, and other stuff that goes way off the deep end.

No they say the opposite is true about Bristol
Thats good. I grew up not far from Bristol and it is nowhere near the "mean streets" half the idiots in the media pretended like he grew up in.

Don't have Netflix ...
Did they include how much of an a-hole he was when he went to a
drinking establishment ... always took the place over and always wanted to be the man.

Even though he wasn't.

Less then 0% chance I'm watching this

Watched it all, thought it was interesting but terribly sad as well. Seems once his Dad passed away everything started to take a bad turn for him, i also don't think his mother helped him at all, and i couldn't stand her at times. What he did was awful, but he needed some help and never got it.

Did it show scenes of Kraft telling him that he loved him?

That last episode of Dracula left me shocked. The change of tone was so bizarre and drastic. It almost ruined what was 2 great episodes

Just watched it.

Hated #3

Really liked #1 and #2.

Sister Agatha reminded me of Marge Gunderson from Fargo.

i will not watch this.

last thing i read on ah was the si profile on his brother.

81 is the past. let him stay dead and buried there.

So no natural curiosity about what could lead a young man with the potential to live our dreams down the road of murder over the smallest of slights?
