How many times does Brady have to say that he's going to keep playing to end the (constant) speculation that he's retiring?
You don't get it. The media and fans will say what they want regardless of what the truth is. Sharing with the media to cut down speculation is an exercise in futility.
I saw it but it did not register. I must of heard Michaels say “intercepted” but I was like “what is that big scrum of people doing at the 1”. When I realized that it was in fact true, my knees went weak and I was on the floor. The only other time I had a similar reaction was “Grand Slam, Johnny Damon”. It was surreal.I wonder how many people in New England jumped the moment the ball was intercepted, everyone I talked to said they jumped over the coffee table, jumped over blah blah, we could have caused an earthquake.
For some reason, I’ve always enjoyed watching the Seattle fans more than the pats fans. This one was always my favorite… Something about the ebb and flow of the game and them chanting beast mode so passionately right before their hearts get ripped out...

Read your own post #203 for which you state that they are 'pissed' about the trash talking. The talking in question is about him moving to a new house elsewhere. To which I said he could of given a bit more information on it to stop people from basically stalking him to see if he moved. In November this story started about buying another house. If he is 'angry about the trash talk', which presumably means that it's BS, he could flat out say so. I don't think people should be digging like that anyway, but he's Tom Brady. People will speculate about which team he goes to and I doubt that bothers him. It probably helps his negotiating position if he and NE will even negotiate. My entire point is on a global scale is that neither he nor the team (BB) has said anything about if they are trying to work this out. You don't talk, people will make stories up and dig deeper. If he would just come out and say we aren't moving right now, people would stop talking to moving companies. It's sad I have to elaborate further, I think my point was pretty clear and if you disagree that being more forthcoming would remove some of the paparazzi nature from the situation, that's fine. I think it's common sense and most teams feed the media a narrative to prevent them from going out and writing BS. I've heard Atlanta's owner said that almost verbatim, and Kraft at least has somewhat come out and said something tangible about Brady's future. BB though? Nothing. Brady, not really much more. He at least has said he wants to play but that's about it. If he and Gisele are actually pissed maybe he should say more. No other organization would handle this situation like this. It invites a media circus by saying absolutely nothing.
Tom Brady hopes Pats Nation isn’t speculating too much about his real estate activity. Speaking Monday on Boston’s WEEI, the 42-year-old quarterback, who listed his Brookline, Massachusetts home for $39.5 million, said the move is all part of life’s game plan.
“You shouldn’t read into anything,” Brady said. “I think it takes a long time to sell a house. My house is a little bit of an expensive one, so it doesn’t quite fly off the shelf in a couple of weeks.”
Tom Brady Sr. has now weighed in on the situation, and made it clear that his son wants to keep playing. Tom Sr. has a tough time envisioning his son playing for anyone but the Patriots, but he said that decision won’t be Brady’s to make; it lies on the shoulders of head coach Bill Belichick.
“It’s hard for me to envision him playing somewhere else. He wants to play. But ultimately, it’s Bill’s decision.
Me neither: bad link. This shouldn’t be too hard. Real estate transactions are public record.

It was even fun being there in Glendale surrounded by Seahawks fans ( outnumbered Pats fans 3-1) talking crap all game and then disappearing very quickly after the interception....I saw it but it did not register. I must of heard Michaels say “intercepted” but I was like “what is that big scrum of people doing at the 1”. When I realized that it was in fact true, my knees went weak and I was on the floor. Nope, sorry. He's not being forthcoming and if he were it would not be as loud. Understand that I don't care how he approaches it and I'm not suggesting he should say anything. But the media would be considerably less invasive if both sides would say they are trying to work something out.

But the media would be considerably less invasive if both sides would say they are trying to work something out. Or said anything. If they don't work it out? No big deal. The approach being taken here by NE and Brady invites maximum scrutiny. Of course, as I've said 3 times now, reporters will always speculate no matter what, but there are different levels of speculation. Just watch if no one says a thing until a day before the contract expires. It's going to be a **** show in the media. Watch how NO handled this. The coach said his QB will probably think about it, but that he thinks he'll play and if so they'll work it out. That's all that needs to be said. If they did, the media would not speculate as much. The situations aren't the same, but the point, for the 3rd time now, is that they should control the narrative to tone this thing down. It will get nuclear if they don't. Hopefully they do soon.

It is widely believed they bought 17 lower Cross road, but that has been denied by the seller's agent. I have heard they actually bought near the water, exact address unknown.
Do you mean 19 Lower Cross? That sold in September to someone from a law firm in Boston. No one with their resources buys a house in their own name, for legal and confidentiality reasons they would buy through an LLC or corporation

I thought you had to go into town hall to pull those records. This supports what I have heard, that he did not in fact buy this property, but had purchased a house in Byram shore earlier in the fall.
