couldn’t watch the game last night, did see it was 24-0. Was Mahomes that good in the comeback , or was Hou defense that bad. Guessing it was a combination of both.

The only way he eclipses Brady is the NFL allowing it. I said long ago be wary of the 6 SB titles. The next annointed NFL god will win however many the league allows them to. It is after all, sports entertainment. I think BB was always the turd in the punch bowl and thus the massive scandals, fines and suspensions. You don’t want to “fix” games? Fine, here you go. Part of me feels they finally succumbed this season with the last 2 games. I have had several anti-Pats fans who are giddy they lost but have asked did they even try to win week 17 and the Titans game?

I want to say you’re wrong but there is an eerie trace of truth in what you say. This is especially true when you understand how the NFL often operates.

Did JJ Watt make a solo tackle or a play?

At some point you have to call it like it is.

Texans reddit is on point with their memes right now.

Mahomes is a tremendous talent and their offense right now has speed and multiple weapons. Almost impossible to stop when they get on a role. Will be interesting to see how well he and the team does once he becomes the top paid player in the league and they are forced to scrimp in other areas.

Mahomes cap hit this year - $3.73m

Brady cap hit this year - $21.5m

Mahomes was outstanding and Houston’s defense was equally inept. They had nobody that can match up with Kelce.

O'Brien is probably sending a big box of chocolates to MLB, as a way of saying "Thanks for handing down this punishment today, and distracting the city of Houston from what happened in the Chiefs/Texans game".

They couldn't even match up when he was doubled.

It’s unlikely. I guess if Mahomes won like 4-5 MVPs and 3-4 Super Bowls he could give Brady a run for his money for GOAT. The problem with Rodgers, Manning, and Brees is they’ve fallen so, so short in the postseason. It has to do with clutch play and legacy defining moments, drives, and games. So in short, a guy doesn’t necessarily need to have 7 Super Bowls to surpass Brady. He needs be a consistent champion though, and we haven’t seen that. And I believe that is possible without transcendent coaching. Other thing is the coach-QB relationship is symbiotic. It’s arguable which one really makes the other.
In support of your argument, many of the quarterbacks who are at the top of the list of all-time greats have enjoyed outstanding head coaches: Montana/Walsh, Graham/Brown, Starr/Lombardi, Staubach/Landry, Aikman/Johnson, Marino/Shula, Kelly/Levy, Unitas/Eubank.

If you seriously think there is a massive league wide conspiracy to give Mahomes six Super Bowl titles through telling the refs to give him all the calls, or whatever, then I amend my earlier suggestion to stop watching nfl media by now suggesting you stop watching the NFL altogether, because you’re gonna have a really rough next couple of decades.

The tried with Manning. They tried with Luck. They are now trying with Mahomes. This isn’t s new thing. And it isn’t just the officials. It’s the coaches and players as well in my opinion. Again, Pats hating other fans have asked did they even try to win against Miami and Tennessee? See the NFL never had anything criminal on Kraft or BB etc until this offseason with tug job Bob. Curiously is was their worst season with questionable play calls amongst other things. Again this is a multi billion dollar sports entertainment organization. They are not as hands off as most would believe.
