I know it sucks boys, we're not used to watching the divisional round from the sidelines, but let's try to turn something negative to a positive....

For once, we can get 5hit faced, pass out halfway through the game, wake up with seconds left in the 4th quarter covered in drool all over our faces and not give 2 5hits about the outcome. o_O

Cheers boys

um,...I kind of do that anyway with any games not involving the Patriots...

Sadly, for me - the best part was that it was a break from the frustration. A team I had such high hopes for at Halloween didn’t perform like I had hoped. Squeaking by last weekend would have (likely) meant getting all revved up for another’s disappointment this weekend.

I think the players have all moved on to their offseason plans...preparing for free agency, making their trips, etc. Maybe BB is sitting around stressing over what happened and what needs to happen.

My list of silver linings:

1) Earlier start to get ready for next year (drafting, scouting, etc)
2) Higher draft pick
3) I don’t know about you guys, but I drop at least $500 on merch after a Super Bowl win. So now that’s money saved.

And I can finally have a Super Bowl party. I don't like to have them when the Pats are in it because I just want to focus on the game, not on hosting some event, and have people talk too much during the game.

Every once in a while it's pretty relaxing. I'd still rather the Pats be playing, but it's ok.

Bingo. KC would've manhandled this team. At least we don't have to hear that Reid beat BB in the postseason. Or that the tourch has been passed from the old guard to the new buck.

People overrate the Chiefs here.

They were lucky not to lose 6 games and they didn't exactly manhandle the Pats.

Chiefs were way better last year

I am excited to be able to go to a Super Bowl party and relax and enjoy it. When the Pats are in it, I'm too nervous to eat

When they lost to Miami that was my feeling too if we managed to get by TEN. I thought we would win beat them at home though. That Miami game was so huge it changed the entire AFC playoffs.

Silver lining for me us if Pat's were playing today there's no way I could watch... daughter has 2 bball games 1 and 5 at opposite ends of the state (North and South of Boston)...plus she has a pitching clinic tonight (softball)...crazy schedule

Indoor softball ... who would have thunk it when I was a kid.
Great for the kids that there are so many facilities to keep them active year round.

In hindsight, the silver lining is that the team that beat us also knocked out the Ravens and their middle school circus offense.

Also a silver lining is we get a better draft spot.

My wife and I host a big party every year as we have multiple big screens. We even set one up outside for the game.

She does the hosting. I just watch the game.

I try to avoid SB parties with the Pats playing like the plague as I focus on the game, not yahoos blathering away and walking in front of the TV. Made an exception recently attending a SB party of a serious Patriots fan. No yahoos, great food. Bad news was the Eagles beat the Pats. Nevermore.
I'll probably be *****ing that nobody has invited me to a SB party this year so I can be the yahoo.
