No way is he giving up $7,166,666 just because Brady leaves. His 2020 salary is his career peak. And remember, he lost 1/4 of his 2018 salary due to his suspension. If he can play, he'll suit up. Retirement would throw away $3,000,000 in guaranteed money. I don't know why he'd do that.

It's funny because Edelman loves football as much as Brady. He isn't going anywhere in 2020 even if Brady leaves.

well Jules needs shoulder and knee surgery, I have no idea how he was still standing the last month of the season, what a warrior he is !!

Edelman to have shoulder surgery and arthroscopic surgery on his knee....

Sadly, no WR stepped up to offload some pressure/hits Edelman sustained over the course of the season catching the ball...

That is why Patriots must get a legit #1 WR that can go vertical AND a legit TE.

So we were really not going any where with a win against the Titans? It would have been painful to have been blown out by KC.

I feel Jules is also responsible for some of his upper body injuries. He does not protect his body, he likes to take unnecessary hits. I wish he knew how to protect his body like Dola. With his durability, if he shied away from taking hard hits, I think he can play two more years, but this might be it for him.

He’s a tough MF. Love him. I gotta get an Edelman jersey even if he may only have a year or two left here... Favorite player besides Brady for sure.

Wonder if he'll have hand surgery; they looked broken when he dropped that 3d and 6 pass right in his hands...ya know, the catch that would've given the pats the ball 1st and 10 at their 45 w over 3 minutes (and 4 downs) to move 25 yards for a makeable GW field goal?

He is a fighter, every yard he can get. He is NOT LIKE Brandon Lloyd who famously would always catch the ball and go down intentionally to not get hit.

Slot receivers should get more $$ than other receivers just due to the collisions they are expected to get.

Brady has expressed similar comments as I have said above. There is no need to fight for every yard in a game we are comfortably leading. If There is a time for everything. There is a time to be Lloyd and protect yourself and also the team and just going down.
I love him too much to sound like I am criticizing him. He is among my sports hold blameless class who can't do any wrong: Jules, Hightower.

Love the guy. He needs to retire though.

The injuries didn't seem to be bothering him as he was jumping on top of cars in Beverly Hills last night.

The second run isn’t over yet. We have been to 4 of the last 5 Super Bowls and one year we have injuries and only make it to wild card weekend and everyone is proclaiming it over. Man some of my fellow fans are spoiled
