Titans @ Ravens thread

Also to be honest, The titans are probably the most physical team in the NFL right now and they can simply bulldoze teams. The Ravens got punched in the mouth tonight and did not like it.

Take that Earl Thomas
This year's Titans team reminds me a lot of of the 2018 Pats team!

To inflate the mythos that is the Belichick method, Is like to say that being a player for the Patriots does indoctrinate you with Belichickian theory, as he puts importance into the input of his players, which in turn motivates them to think from a game-planning perspective, rather than just executing.

This is my homerism at it's biggest, though :)
No I'm 100% with you lol. Just being technical abt it but absolutely we can still claim credit. Robinson, Vrabel who I love. Ryan, Lewis.

Teams have no problem stealing from us.

One other thing regarding Vrabel. Teams have always played scared against us. Always playing it tight, conservative etc. You don't beat us that way. Former players, coaches understand that better than anyone. Huge difference and I love what Vrabel did last week and this week. Guy is not afraid and understands you don't win by hitting singles & doubles against the best of the best.

Niners are going for 6 titles - cannot root for that

Vrabel is technically part of O'Brien's coaching tree

.

What analytics ignores, is that not evrey defense is the same.

Sure, that's a specific example among many. And that's the example that bit the Ravens in the ass, twice, today.

Play that won the game was the home run ball after the failed 4th down

Does Vrabel really count as part of the coaching tree?

He absolutely counts, having coached directly under a guy who coached directly under Belichick for a significant period of time.

This ravens team where a ****y bunch and they got a taste of sweet humble pie!

Teams that go on super long streaks to end the season very rarely win the whole thing. Hasn’t since 2003 Patriots I believe

Nice to see you own that. Next step is to stop scolding the entire board for what you perceive to be the same.
People called him a scumbag & a thug. Had no idea he ran a variation of our offense in college. Throw out everything he did this year over a bad game. The same people who said he'd never make it in the league & would lose the starting job.

It's safe to say they don't know what they're talking abt.

Again I'm wrong all the time but can't stand the groupthink that goes on here. Which is my fault for responding but let's not pretend that we all don't do it at one point or another.

Lamar is a punk

If you told me that the Ravens would have 500 yards of offense and 1 punt at the 2 minute warning, and the score was 28–12, I'd have guessed Baltimore won.
Turnovers. You don’t have to punt when you turn it over. Balt had INTs, fumbles, turn over on downs. Not many chances to punt.

I’m happy that people are able to find satisfaction from this Ravens loss but i’m still stuck at Week 17.

I’m really not that bothered by the Titans loss, coming off a demoralizing loss, short week, etc...

That Miami loss though, in my opinion the worst regular season loss of the B&B era. Bye week, Texans at home, Titans vs Chiefs and then possibly the Ravens. A very real possibility to host the Titans for the AFCCG.

The NFL doesn’t have a single great team right now, every team is/was very beatable ...we didn’t need to be great to win it all. Just don’t lose to freakin 4-11 Miami at home and then one game at a time.

The issue has always been about what happens when you force him to be a QB instead of a RB who throws. What the Ravens did this year was avoid putting him in to that situation for most of the season. That didn't happen today, and he couldn't get it done.

If you don't want to draw anything from that, that's your choice. If others want to note that the pattern continues from last year, that's their choice. History will eventually give us our answer.

LJ is actually pretty humble, hard working and down to earth. Not a punk at all.
you know him on a personal level? All I can go on is what he DOES on the field in a big spot...what he did on that sideline penalty is the mark of an immature punk IMO.

Its cliche, but usually the team that wins turnover battle wins the game. Total yards can be so misleading...like tonight when Titans just sat back and let Ravens run up and down the field between 20's and burn clock

TITANUP !
