Titans @ Ravens thread

Same here. Now the question is whether the Titans are the underdog or favorite moving forward.
Dunno, but IF they meet SF in the SB, can you imagine Henry vs those DLs ?

The '10 game?

I really don't think it was any kind of arrogance. That was one of the very few times I've ever seen Brady completely confused by a defense. Ryan called his best game ever.
It is just the things we decided to do in the game, that direct snap to Chung still pisses me off till today.

This post game analysis is dumb. Trying to blame the loss on random things like Mark Ingram not being healthy. It’s simple guys: Everything the Ravens do falls apart when they have to play from behind.

If you told me that the Ravens would have 500 yards of offense and 1 punt at the 2 minute warning, and the score was 28–12, I'd have guessed Baltimore won.

I just wanted to congratulate the Ravens on their victory. Knocking off that first opponent on the way to the SB must be a great feeling for them.

Two years and counting.

If NE beat Miami, then Tennessee would have played KC last week and we would have had a match up with Houston tomorrow (assuming Tennessee wins over KC). Could have gone to the AFCCG
Please don't remind me of the missed golden opportunity by the Pats this season. Well we can't win the big game every year. On to 2020!

Hey harbaugh*, feelin deflated after tonights game? Now you have time to a rule book.

There was so much talk about harbaugh and analytics for going for it on 4th downs. Today those chances really were one of the reasons it cost them the game

Pats d gave up 14 to Ravens 28. Pats offense scored 13 to Ravens 12. Football makes no sense sometimes.

Since the game is over I'd like to throw my hat in the ring addressing the word 'thug'.

To me it isn't a racist term but does have a slight connotation to it in certain situations. Thug is generally used to refer to criminals; particularly violent ones in a gang. Back in the day if anything it was more a term of racism against Italians and the mafia.

These days unless I am mistaken, black gangs seem to be the more in the public eye. In fact with the popularity of hip-hop and that whole culture appropriating the whole 'gangsta' idea it seems to have influenced public perception. So while being a thug really at it's core only means being it a violent gang, I can understand a bit of sensitivity around the term.

When people have said Thug they rarely meant white people, simply because white gangs have not been the major power in this country. In Mexico/South America when someone mentions thugs their mind will probably go to cartel members. In Russia or eastern Europe it would probably go to to the very powerful Russian mafia. In the Eastern/Asian region it will probably be the Japanese or Triads.

So depending on where you live the term thug may have a slight racial meaning due to those being the most powerful/dangerous gangs people deal with on a day to day basis. I don't think you can automatically say it is a racial term. Though I can understand that view point a bit. Just my 2 cents for what it's worth.

This is why threads like 'can't stop the Ravens' are chicken little crap. In the playoffs it's high competition, where not bringing your A game, where being unable to figure out and put in adjustments, where an opponents shifts to another gear, many things can send the favorite home.
That's why even for the Patriots (what may have been), as bad as they looked, they win just one game at a time in the playoffs, just convert a single FG against Tenn to win, then worry about what happens next week. IMHO is doing just that, one game at time.

Has any all road team beat the #3 seed, #1 seed and #2 seed to get to the SB? I'm assuming (IF KC wins) if Tenn can beat KC they'll have pulled off that pretty rare accomplishment.

KC will get run on. Key will be if titans can stop the KC track team. If they win tomorrow. titans i think would prefer the chiefs over facing a div team in houston.
If Houston is smart they will put a bunch of points on the board. If they come out and try to run it down their throats they probably won’t.
The biggest mistake offenses make, especially in the playoffs is to attack the weakness of a defense at will and allow them to bring more guys into the box to overcome their weakness.
Run a normal offense, and they will have tons of success on the ground, force it and they’ll be stuck trying to convert 3rd downs all the way down the field

Doesn't count for **** come playoffs.
He literally just turned 23 & was the MVP this year.

And if you know what you're talking about he was hardly the reason they lost tonight.

Not sure if I should have expected better from @PP2 ??

Pats loss to miami has changed the AFC playoffs.

Could of been tenn vs ravens tonight and us vs houston tomorrow.

Madea huge difference

Okay so we lost to the greatest football team of all time

The pick in the 1st drive set the tone. And pats couldnt block 3 man rushes. Benching welker to start was an unecessary distraction

I'm going to be dying laughing about this for years and years.

God bless the Titans.

Harbaugh was right to go for it on those 4th downs. They just didn't work out. The math says you should nearly always go for it on 4th down and coaches are way to conservative. I agree. You need to play to win at this time of year.

Not to mention the way he built his team. He built an offense that specialized on gaining 1-2 yards if they really need it. I wouldn't fault him for those calls at all.

Titans/Texans nfl* dream match up for ratings.

Don’t do this to yourself.
