BS storyBill Belichick refused to allow Josh McDaniels to move up coaching interviews despite playoff loss

Seems like he is playing hardball.
I guess even BB gets sick and tired of losing all his top assistants year after year.
He did allow Judge's interview to be moved up and recommended Judge to Giants.
Doing everything he can to keep McDaniels
Is it because he does not want to lose Brady, after all?
But it’s made upThat’s ****ty

Giants weren’t interested interviewing Josh, it’s the Browns. Giants found their guy, Joe Judge. If the Giants weren't willing to wait a couple of days then they weren't that interested in McDaniels.
Josh won’t react because this is fake news. How should Josh react?
Perhaps, he'll accept an assistant HC job, if doesn't get a HC job. That is considered a promotion. I believe Scar was given that job at one point.
There us no context. It’s fake newsPeople making mountains out of a molehill. Nobody knows the context. Could it be that BB has meetings planned with McD to evaluate and plan strategy that he doesn’t want to reschedule and lose time on? Something like that would be much more important with the OC than with ST coach.

Where was this reported? If true, it might appear to be a crappy thing to do to a long-time assistant. But, the Patriots have been, reportedly, paying McDaniels a Head Coach’s commensurate salary for the past two seasons and are, more than likely, guaranteed to do so for another 2 or 3 seasons at least.
The article is fake news. You can’t tell an assistant when he can interview after your season is over. And if you could it would serve absolutely no purpose and only alienate the guy you would be doing this in order to keep. The Pats caught a “break” having to play on wild card weekend allowing them to set The timing of McDaniels’ interview schedule this week. I don’t blame them for not allowing those times be pushed up after the Titans loss. They were just trying to protect an asset they paid considerably to keep two years ago and would like to keep, if possible, through the balance of his contract.
It’s a new headline, and there’s not a lot else going on, so don’t think it’s necessary to merge at the moment. I am sure many visitors will be intrigued seeing this new headline instead of having to go to page 30 of the McDaniels thread without any idea if there’s news or not.
