People here are just in denial. Favre, P Manning, Namath, Unitas, Montana all left. They are the Mount Rushmore of NFL QBs and they picked up and moved on. Either the Greats retire with the same club like Elway and Aikman or they leave and keep playing.

He's painted himself into a corner saying he will play this coming season. It's been reported that he won't go to another AFCE team or any other team visiting Gillette in 2020. Dallas is a possible long shot. IF he definitely plays he'll be back with the Pats.

The Chargers? Really? They were 5-11 in a town where they’re the second football team and where pro football ranks third at best, at least behind baseball and pro hoops and maybe college FB too. Feeney and Tevi need upgrades on a mediocre pass blocking OL (and I’m being really kind here). That team isn’t sniffing an SB any time soon.

I don't think we need to revamp the offense. Harry and the other kid need to work all summer and improve. You have all summer to work the playbook. Need to draft a TE or 2 and/or a WR and do the rest in free agency. Try and give Thuney a good deal and trade mason although no one will take that contract. You can pay Brady and improve the roster BB has done it before. Improving the roster and bringing in someone like Dalton will be entertaining to watch for all the wrong reasons.

It's simple. Brady will listen to offers and go where his best opportunity to win is. He's worth hundreds of millions, as long as the salary is reasonable, that's where he goes.

Will Brady come back? Who is on offense? Brady and a 34 year old Edelman coming off two surgeries? I think we saw how useless that was this year. And no, they can't "upgrade" easily.

So my guess is he leaves and i hope for his sake he does. Any team that drafts and trades for slow footed sloths cannot be trusted. A cornucopia of talent and they get slugs.

And it's not one wr they're missing. It's two decent TEs and at least two WRs (can't wait until sanu is cut) and a lineman or two.

Brady is better off going somewhere where they have a viable offense already. Pats offense is one cylinder and it's a soon to be 34 year old cylinder coming off surgeries.

I think if Sanu takes a pay cut you keep him as WR4. You need a real WR1/2 depending where you put Edelman. I think JE11 will still be fine if he can heal up, his game is not built on speed. Harry needs to make the jump next year and quickly and if he does that will help the offense miles. We need 2 guys that command attention and then the rest of the pieces will have it a bit easier.

And, Brady is not accepting a lowball contract this time. So, good luck FA shopping for weapons to place around Brady. Brady knows that if he does not take a discount that NE cannot afford the talent that he needs at this stage of his career. Brady wants to break passing records.

Was a solid Brady's Lady starting with my several training camp visits summer 2001 when he outplayed Drew. Wife had previously given up on Bledsoe saying he was a tease who'd never win the big one. The Bledsoe Krishnas were epic on Usenet and on the old Patriots Mailing List (still around!)

The Chargers are 5 - 11 because of Rivers. Did you watch him play this year or throughout his career?

Its about selling corporate luxury suites and psls. What leads you to believe that Brady signing with the LAC wont drive more sales? LA is like Miami. Winning is a recipe for a full house and losing makes the beach more attractive.

At the very least, even if LAC does not win a Lombardi, Brady is racking up passing TDs and yards.

Thank you. The Chargers play the Pats in California in 2020, exact date TBD. Assuming the Pats and Chargers both make the post season, LAC would visit NE in January 2021 clinching the 2nd seed or lower.

The Jerry and Brady thing is an internet rumor.
