It was s strong round 1 draft. I bet McDaniels wishes he hadn't been so desperately in need of a QB. He had to leave a lot of talent on the board because of that need.

That draft was the last one under the prior CBA with the rookie wage scale. A lot of top talent declared early to ensure they’d hit the financial jackpot.
