Giants hire Patriots ST/WR coach Joe Judge for HC - Bielema for Staff. EDIT

You think we'd be able to avoid the annual poach-fest with our disappointing finish this year. Sigh.

Assistant ST coach Cameron Achord did get an increase in responsibility this past season with Judge spending time with the WRs. I assume he’ll just get the promotion to ST coach now.

At least the conspiracy theory of “Bill will leave for the Giants job” is squashed yet again.

BB did that so JJ could be considered for a HC job

Giants fans are hating this hire on social media right now. He was an excellent ST coach, though. I won’t judge him on what he was or wasn’t able to do with the pile of crap they had at WR this year.

It happens after every dynasty. As after 2004, we lost Weiss and Crennel. After this current dynasty, we lost Flores and Judge and probably McD. Other team see our success and want to get a piece of it so they can grow their own programs.

Possibly, but we needed a full time WR coach.

probably wanted someone knowledgeable about "the Patriot Way", yet willing to work with Gettleman... so JJ was the guy.

I'd have picked him over McDaniels too. Teams seem to be learning.

I wonder if we bring in Garrett as OC if McD goes to Cleveland...Bill usually likes to hire from within the system though.

Patriots imprint all over the league. For all the talk of hating us they can't get enough of our players & coaches.
