Well, we’re on to the off-season. You saw your mistake on film. Come back stronger next year and all is forgiven.
Not so fast, we're still collecting info from the accused.

I’m totally lost on why someone who looks like they may have sat next to the Krafts at one point was buying Browns gear 40 years later?

I shaved my goatee the day before the 07 Super Bowl... think about it almost everyday. Some people will tell you it softens with time but I am here to tell you that they are wrong, it will always be there you just need to find a way to move forward, it won’t be easy but alcohol helps.

My wife bought a football-shaped helium-filled Patriots balloon the day before the '07 Super Bowl. It was bad mojo. But we have not repeated that mistake, so my family is not to blame, this time.

You've always been one of my favourite posters, the GIFmeister...but you're dead to me now.

Out of the club for you.

LOL, I went to a Patriots game in 2014, 2016, and 2018....skipped the other years....

And made a point of going this year (week 3 vs. Jets)....didn't make a difference.....

I know a lot of you want to blame injuries, bad play calling, poor receiving options and everything else under the sun for this latest playoff loss, but I have to come clean now.

Back in August we sold our house and stored most of our belongings in Charlestown MA with a moving and storage company named Stairhoppers (I would never recommend them to anyone btw) and one of the things that got packed away was my lucky playoff sweatshirt. That's the one that I bought in Cleveland at Belichick's first game back there as Pats HC in 2000. It has a much better playoff record than Tom Brady.

What I never realized could happen was that we'd still be looking around for a new home to purchase in January and that my lucky sweatshirt could be locked up for the playoffs. My sincerest apologies go out to all of Pats fandom for my horrible mistake.
Boy you are a real piece of ****

I don't think I'd mind that too much actually. I could lose quite a few votes for her if I really tried.
Just ask as many yes or no questions as you can and let her rambling non answers turn everyone into a stupor.

A few follow-up questions before we submit this case for resolution:

1). Were you a Browns fan/Cleveland-area resident at the time you bought the item?
2). If you were a Patriots fan, why did you buy a Browns sweatshirt?
3). Also if a Pats fan, did you travel to Cleveland for that game specifically?
4). What was the Pats' "bad playoff stretch" you refer to?
5). Was the sweatshirt ever laundered (spilled drinks, chip dip, etc.)?
6). How did you first lose the sweatshirt and where was it found?
7). Knowing the value and application of this item, why was it packed away?
8). Did you consider retrieving it from storage prior to this latest playoff loss?
9). Your acceptance of blame might mitigate your sentence if found guilty. What possible penalty would you deem fair?

Thanks.

@Tunescribe , great questions, but I think you need to interrogate @1960Pats ' accomplice, Josh McDaniels, who not only called three running plays over the left tackle into the teeth of the Titans defense from the one yard line, but who is also a major flight risk.

Just make sure you have it back for next year !!

Just have Brady sneak in. If you want to win.
who is also a major flight risk
Let him go. Please.

Four minutes to go. All your timeouts. One point behind. Need just a FG to win.

Line up in the I or whatever, you're in four down territory, you must run the ball once or twice. Do a draw play. Something. Anything. Burkhead. White. Michel.

Just dropping Brady back to pass every down makes it too easy for the defense - and too hard on your quarterback.

Understood, but if our guy just wore his damn lucky sweatshirt McDaniels would be irrelevant.

as long as it wasn't his "lucky" colostomy bag, I'm good....

I think a fair punishment for you would be having to work on Elizabeth Warren’s campaign for say, 3 months. (Not a political commentary just an apt, painful punishment for this particular offender.)
That is truly cruel and unusual punishment.

I blame my 2 month old son. He has 2 older brothers, one was born in 2014 and one in 2016. He was supposed to bring similar fortune but he F***ED IT ALL UP!!

It's a Browns sweatshirt that I got in Cleveland and wore for the first dynasty playoff run but lost it during the Pats' bad playoff stretch. I then found it in time for the last successful playoff run. It has an incredible winning %. Better than Brady's.

It’s obvious this sweatshirt has mystical powers. It must be retrieved before a jets fan gets his gang green hands on it!

You have 24 hours to retrieve and post a photo of this mystical garment or else I will tweet AB. And then who knows what happens.

1) I was a Browns fan before the Pats were born but have been a true blue Pats fan since 1960.
2) See #1
3) Went to Cleveland specifically for the game.
4) The bad stretch was when they lost to the Giants twice in the SB and got knocked out by the Jete and Ravens.
5) The sweatshirt was laundered but never got very dirty.
6) It ended up buried in a deep closet and was found before the Atlanta comeback game.
7) It was packed away this time for a move.
8) I was told that I couldn't get access to the storage unit. Stairhoppers (gag) is more of a moving company.
9) I'll leave my fate to the mercy of my fellow Pats fans.
