Not sure why he needs to schedule a press conference for this either way, but it’s coming in nine minutes. Given how many picks we have and the fact that we are picking #23, I figured there should be interest.

No way in hell he stays in school

I don’t know about that. They’re a weird family. He could have dreamed about winning a national championship for Alabama when he was a kid. He’d be an idiot if he stayed in school, though. Not just because of his injury history, but also the fact that the QB class will be much deeper next season.

He was originally supposed to be a top 2 pick until the hip injury, now his stock has gone down. He could risk it and go back but I just don’t see that.

What's his draft projection? High 1st round? Late 1st round? And how do the Patriots go about getting him?

His dad and his dad's belt will make the right choice for the family.
Do you think he spanks Tua’s bare ass with his hand? Inquiring minds, uh, need to know.

As I watched that "feature" I was like : the reporters are actually trying to convince us they come from a good family, when in fact they are living in fear from the terror of the dad. He looked like a controlling monster.

He came off like a massive loser trying to live vicariously through his kids.

This one is tough, it's a huge risk given the injury and I think I'd feel a little better about it if he stuck around for one more year and at least looked healthy before going pro. Then again, the latter part of that previous sentence is probably why he won't. But it would stink to risk and invest so much in a guy who might have a limited NFL career due to that injury.

I’d take a chance on him. It’ll be a risk, because if the medicals are perfect he won’t last past the top 7 or so. If they’re less than perfect, then he’d drop. Maybe not to 23, but if it takes our first and let’s say a 2020 third or maybe even a 2021 second, I’d make that trade to move up six spots or so.

No way is he going to drop to us in the 1st. The positive impact on the Pats now that he has declared is the slide down of other players that might give us just the slightest chance of getting someone we want in the 2nd when we trade down in the first. ;)

Welp, he declared for the draft.

He waited to see what the draft order is going to look like following this weekend's games before declaring.

Just as a reminder - the team could always trade UP in the first. The bright side to looking like a complete ****ing disaster on offense and taking an L in the Wild Card round is they get a higher pick. This helps with trading.

Sounds like he may want to go to New England.

Gosh, I could see MIA taking Tua at 5, reshirting him during this year for rehab, then signing Brady and AB.

I really doubt they hired Chan Gailey thinking "Wow we really want Tom Brady here".
