I think this is maybe the 3rd best out of all the Brady threads around here.

Give it time. It will drop down to 50 in a matter of days.
Willie McGinest believes it could drop below 50 this off season. Giselle has always hated polls.

I'm really surprised that option 2 is not much higher (only 3 votes?) - why wouldn't you root for Brady to get another ring if the Pats are out of it?

While I don't like to think about it, I feel TB would be better off leaving NE. With all the holes in the lineup and a tight salary cap, NE is in rebuild mode for at least 1 year, probably longer. He needs a team with the talent to win now.

Merge made my poll disappear :(

Brady is going to Miami...

- Big Salary Cap Available. 120-150M 3 year contract G.
- Brady leaves - mentions Montana didn't finish in SF.
- Flores - TB12 transforms locker room & Miami
- Stays in AFC East - Plays NE & Belichick 2x/yr... The Challenge..
- Brady going against Steve Belichick's D..
- TB12/Giselle Take Over Miami. - Business & Life Style fits w/TB12 & Gs goals..
- Marino loves Brady... Shula / Belichick Dynamic...
- Young team with lots of Draft Picks. good WRs & TEs .
- FAs to Miami because of Brady - Cap to Sign...
- Brady Generates Big Revenue - Smart Business Decision by Ross

wrong!!! Not with Chan Gailey as OC.

I think the only way he goes elsewhere is if they convince him he has a better chance to win there than New England. The Chargers have the cap room to fix their Oline but they didnt do it last year so I dont know why they would be able to do it this year.

Chargers

Bradys parents live there in Cal.
Bradys mom has been sick.
Grandkids spending more time with Grandparents.
Perhaps Bradys siblings live there as well.

San Mateo (near SF) and Los Angeles are 369 miles apart, by car.

Boston is closer to Philadelphia than San Mateo is to LA.

LA might appeal to Giselle and the Chargers do have some appeal, but framing it as a homecoming is a huge stretch.

Brady has more than a little reason to be ticked at Kraft for taking a HOF receiver away from him when said receiver likely would've led to a SB win; he has reason to be ticked at BB for monumentally screwing the draft and free agency this year.

Brady should be pissed off at Brown for being an idiot. As for free agency Brady should be more pissed at Gronk for leaving it late so the Pats could be in sooner for Cook who was genuinely the only worthwhile TE to give money to. I like how people ignore that. The TE free agency was so void of guys that Austin Seferian Jenkins, who the Pats signed, was considered by most free agency rankings as a top 5 free agent TE. Also Belichick can't make guys sign. And people can screw off with the draft sh*t. He drafted a WR not his fault the guy got injured and missed half a season and i'm sure you're someone who probably looks at other rookie WRs and says "should have got him" what's the proof they would have walked in as a rookie and contributed just as good in this system? Pats system isn't just telling guys to run a go route. Also notable in the draft Belichick drafted
a CB- who will likely replace Jason McCourty next year.
a DE- who had 6 sacks only playing 25% of the snaps. But being a rookie and with Van Noy & Collins ahead of him on the depth chart he was used in a rotational/situational role
a RB- all you have to do is look at Shane Vereen and James White when it comes to RBs that get a redshirt year. Now with Burkhead hitting FA. Harris fills right in
a T & G- 2 guys that ended up being medical redshirts but that's still depth for the OL for the future

beyond dumb to look at the current year draft and proclaim it was "monumentally screwed up" based on 1 season

I don’t even think BB wants him back. He’s 43 years old and the franchise has to eventually cut the cord on that player.

But as Jeff Darlington has reported, if he does return it will be more of a “collaborative effort”. Not sure what that means, but I interpret it as Brady wants say in personnel decisions or the Patriots to bring in certain guys before he returns like when Kawhi Leonard held the Clippers hostage.

Chargers

The franchise is struggling to relocate and sell tickets
Storied franchise. You cant tell the tale of NFL history without the Chargers
Iconic powder blue uniforms
Would you like to be the first NFL QB to deliver an NFL world championship to the Chargers? In LA? You would never buy another meal or drink in that town again.

The weather.
Less travel
Brady has mentioned jumping into the government management fray. Cal is on the brink of collapse and will need new leadership to fix that mess.
Golf 365 days a year.
The roster is loaded
They draft @ # 6

edit - Avocados good prices too

Brady's family is in northern Cal.

Yeah, that makes sense, like "fck off if you think I'm putting my body through this for three more years to throw to Matt LaCosse and Mohamed Sanu." They need to land a big time wide receiver, and I mean big time. And I'm not sure they have the assets.

Pats were heavily rumored to take Lamar Jackson. They may be kicking themselves for not taking him but rather using those picks to build around Brady. They already traded a 2nd for that useless guy who wears 14. I don’t see them trading a 1st for a WR but rather taking a QB this time.

Brady has made his decision

What's "beyond dumb" is to not be able to recognize the difference between drafting for the future when Tom Brady is thirty-two, and doing so when he's forty-two. The former is perfectly sound; the latter is asinine, as the results this year demonstrated all too clearly.

Malcolm Mitchell was drafted in the fourth round and played at entirely another level his rookie year than Harry did. No one had Mitchell rated as a first-round talent, just as no one had A.J. Brown rated as a fourth-round talent. If you can't admit that despite his overall greatness as a coach, and further, despite the many times he has won the draft and made sound picks, Belichick screwed the pooch this year, you're just a blind homer with no regard for the truth.

Brady was a completely different player the one game this year he had a top-flight WR still in his prime on the field, and he would have had an entirely different year, and the Pats would be resting on their bye right now getting ready for home-field throughout the playoffs, just if we had taken A.J. Brown rather than Harry.

You really think Ryan Tannehill and Arthur Smith, who had never been a coordinator prior to this year, are getting production out of A. J. Brown that would have been beyond the capabilities of Brady and McDaniels to match? You really think Malcolm Mitchell, who came out of the SEC, was able to step right in and contribute immediately and profoundly, and yet another SEC receiver with ten times the talent of Mitchell would just be lost and do nothing?

A. J. Brown had over 1,000 yards receiving this year; D.K. Metcalf had 900. If we had not drafted colossal bust Harry, and if we hadn't drafted a redshirt cornerback, we could have drafted them both.

But in your world it makes more sense to waste what easily could have been the GOAT's last year as a Patriot with multiple "redshirt" picks in one draft.

Give me a break.
