What went wrong this year

I think Andrews earned a pay raise by not playing lol.

Sanu trade did nothing and was a waste of a pick. Not getting Sanders instead was a huge mistake. He's useless

No TE.
Cupcake schedule gave false sense of what they were

What was weird to me was how anytime someone showed potential they were immediately shutdown. Thomas has a pretty good showing and then immediately let go. Meyers shows promise and then is an after thought when AB gets here. AB gets here...plays well....gone. Dorsett catches everything thrown his way and then.....gone/disappears. Gunner shows speed/quickness.....mysterious ir. Bolden at this point is a better wr than our wrs and he basically doesn't see the field again.

Lastly, why didn't we force passes to White? No deep wheel routes...nothing. I'd argue he is our most reliable guy.

I don’t understand White’s disappearance. Last year he was leading receiver at one point. In the Falcons SB he had 14 catches. Now he’s disappeared. Just split him wide. Better than our scrub WRs.

It has happened before, Seattle in 2016 among others. Tennessee got great penetration on every play

Yes, but this year it was part of a really bad pattern. Losing a game to seal a bye? At home? Then actually showing some life only to stall out and fail to score from the one? This team was just not good at all and it’s astonishing to me that 14-2 was actually a fairly realistic record they could have ended up with.

They're not good on offense. They were almost historically good on D and special teams was pretty special this year (outside of the return game but that's a small criticism).

How did Brooks look so bad out there against a TE who barely got 14 receptions for the year and had not sniffed the end zone once in his career? He beat Brooks like a chump on two keep situations. This is another guy taking up cap space.

David Andrews went down with no competent backup.
Played the entire year with horrendous TE's.
We got exposed with high energy lack of talent DT's.

Game is won and lost in the trenches ... always will be.

This - I don't understand why we didn't see more of him, especially Saturday night. I was hoping they'd get him more involved and it's just surprising how little he was involved all year...very odd.
