It really is Brady having no help, Wow

I agree AB would have been a big difference but I still agree with letting him go.

BB should have never signed Brown. There's no chance whatsoever he was going to last the entire season.

Damm someone is strapped up firing off dislikes/disagree. Ain't safe out here.

I've been consistent with this all year. It's not Josh or "scheme". Or Brady. Not even close imo.

We have absolutely no game changing talent on offense.
Edelman is the only player on the entire offense who can consistently beat press/man - 1 on 1. Think about that for second if you can. Enough is enough. We've been protecting him keeping him out of the slot at times recently but literally have no one else who can win there either. So no real deep threat, man-beaters or go-to guys ... again besides 30-something Edleman.

The TE position was the biggest failure this past off season. We've known about 87 & played that game for years. Had No one behind him ... And still made almost no effort at all to upgrade. Considering the rec need & how much we depend on them for our running game. It's was truly baffling.

Sony hasn't been a bust but certainly not what you expect from a RD1 RB (that's why you don't even bother with that position RD1). And truthfully if I'm being honest I don't know what to make of it. I know its part coaching. Players are told what to do down to the most minut details. I never expected a workhorse but a X-Factor. 10-12 rushes, 10 targets type RB. He's been a 180 of himself since college and it's frustrating & head-scratching at the same time. This team has no problem throwing the RBs but could get a lil more creative using them imo.

I'm keeping Thuney at all cost if I can. Whether its Brady or whoever we want a strong, deep OL. Keep it together. Develop the young guys if you can but keep it together.

Tough loss. Tough season. We're back in the AFCCG next year with a healthy Brady/OL & upgrade in weapons around him.

Plenty of zip in his throws tonight, amazing pocket awareness as usual, and he can throw that ball downfield without a problem he almost had a Hail Mary completion from the Patriots 40. So physically he still all there and he's the most mentally tough player there is the receivers were just not getting open from the get go. I have no idea why they stopped running the ball either it was working

Can't wait to see how belichick does without a HOF QB. Should be fun.

Season ended the minute Kraft stuck his greasy hands into the personnel decisions and cut AB.

Said it week three, you guys gave me hell.

Guess I wasn’t crazy...
I think we all wanted AB, but most realized when he was cut, that it just didn’t work out, because he was too crazy and league wasn’t going to let him play. Some, like you, haven’t been able to move on.

I have no need to move on. I’m a fan, I can harp on whatever I want to.

He’s the story of the season and will be for eternity

Same way Malcolm Butler’s benching defines the 2017 season.

Sorry you don’t like his name being brought up, but that’s how the story was written.

WR shouldn't even be the focus, because they did try to address it by drafting Harry, signing AB, and trading for Sanu, even though all three moves have been busts so far.

Our top TE at the beginning of the season was Matt LaCosse. Watson was actually cut briefly before they had to bring him back (and Watson jumped LaCosse on the depth chart anyways). This was the biggest issue. Belichick completely ignored the TE position and brought in a JAG as our top TE. LaCosse ended up incapable of blocking and incapable of running routes. We all knew that Gronk was 50/50 gone, we absolutely needed another good player at TE.

Brady was an mvp candidate after 3 games... Newhouse was left tackle for 2 of those games, ben Watson was not active, Antonio Brown played in only one of those games. Brady was throwing to some combination of Gordon, Dorsett, Edelman, myers, LaCosse...
Were Brady's WEAPONZ great the first three games?

To answer the OP: Yes.

I said the same thing, and got that silly, "8-0" crap.

You know, that’s a great point. I just looked at his stats those three games and they were great.

WTF happened?

Same guys on offense.

Did the AB incident just derail everyone mentally or what?

You’re an idiot!!! Did you forget josh gordon? He gave them production in 2 of those games along with Edelman. Dorsett has the game of his life against Pittsburgh but he sucked afterwards.

Josh gordon was playing well and gave them production in those games.

Newhouse replacing Wynn alone probably would have been okay. But then Brady, Edelman, Gordon, Develin, Karras, Mason, Cannon, and Dorsett all got hurt for various portions of the season too. (Obviously that was the least of Gordon’s concerns in the grand scheme of things.)

Brady and Edelman didn’t miss games, but looked very, very beat up at times. The only two regular offensive contributors to stay healthy were Thuney and Michel.

We were lucky to win the Steelers game...their teams tend to start slow out of the gate.
Who did we beat in the first 3 games or over the course of the next 14 (save for the Bills)?
This Patriot was weak and a few injuries killed them (DA hurt the most).

Say what you want but I still believe Tom with given offensive weapons and healthy OL players will be able to play at a high level. I do no expect spectacular stats, fireworks in the offense but players who guarantee Tom comfort in running the game.
Big numbers of changes, roster's rotations and injuries have shaken our offense and definitely affected Tom's style of playing.
If you want to give Brady one more chance to win the title please get the real TE, bring a true number 1 WR next to Edelman like AJ Green ( how many plays Edelman is involved in? Do not expect from him the same production at the end of the season as he is simply tired, exploited and injuries because he was the brightest spot of the offense ).
My bottom line is to keep Thuney, bolster the offense and keep the core of our defense. Of course this season is on the account of every player on the roster but please do not make the same mistakes having a great defense and totally vulnerable offense.

That's not fair. He had money disputes with the Raiders and a problem with the Steelers. The reality is nobody saw the sexual assault lawsuit coming.

Brady was the team's best offensive player tonight. It wasn't close. Anyone who says otherwise doesn't understand football. It's as the goddess once said, he can't throw and catch the ball to himself. Edelman was non existant. Sanu checked out in the second half, Harry and Meyers were massive liabilities, team's figured out White. Watson was honestly our second best offensive player.

I'll tell you right now, this will be an abhorent offense without Brady if he's gone next year.
This x100. Anyone who thinks the team should move on from Brady needs to have their head examined. Brady has a lot more justification to leave the team than the other way round.
