KC would have crushed this team in KC with this lack of offense.

Losing Roberts for the 2nd half really hurt. Team was unable to effectively run once he went out.

I think they only reseed they 4 finalists

Teams that did qualify for the playoffs are assigned draft slots 21-32. The order is determined by the results of the previous year's postseason play: The four teams eliminated in the wild card round pick in slots 21-24 in the reverse order of their final regular season records.

Therefore, the worst we can pick is 24. If New Orleans loses tomorrow, we pick 23. So we have to root for Minnesota.

As far as Sanu on record hating the thought of the trade before it ever happened when I read we tried to trade for him during the draft I threw up in my mouth.
When we traded a second for him I thought are you kidding me is he that big a upgrade from even a Maurice Harris.
Trading Demaryious Thomas premature was assnine.
Sanu makes Caldwell look like Randy Moss.
If we pissed away a second as we love to do it should of at least been a unknown gunner third string safety from some division 2 school.

Every tool who supports a bad team has been texting me and talking ****.

We did not score a TD when we were down at the one, that was a huge game changer and a turning point.

The offense just couldn’t get anything going in the 2nd half, this speaks volumes on how bad our offense is and has been in the 2nd half of the season.

Dorsett
Sanu
Izzo
LaCossse
Watson

I’m hoping Harry can get it together next year and stay healthy.

Pretty much agree. I saw plenty from Brady this season that didn’t look good. Injury or otherwise it doesn't matter. If he wants 30 million...or even 20...not good.
They need to start to solve their long term QB problem and bringing Brady back next year does not begin to address that. They are not competing for a SB next year even with Brady. So bite the bullet and lets get started on building a more physical and talented team. Like the Ravens or Titans. A team that can run the ball down the other team's throat.

We just won the super Bowl last year and went 12-4 this year, stop trolling

Brutal is the understatement. What the hell was BB thinking...punting with 3:00 to go????? Derick henry on the other side?

I do think BB is losing his fastball

This is the least disappointed I’ve been with a Pats playoff loss since I can remember. They weren’t going anywhere. Still really sucks, obviously.
I’d highly disagree. This really doesn’t feel that bad compared to past losses. The Denver one in 2015 is the worst in recent memory. It sucked but coming off all those recent SBs really numbed it for me.

You can still excuse Harry because he's a rookie who missed half of the season to learn the offense.

Why on earth did we trade a 2nd round pick for Sanu?

Harry really doesn't make sense for the way Brady likes his WRs to play the game. Brady likes receivers to run precise routes which Harry was never good at in college. Harry is more a jumpball, catch the ball in traffic type of receiver.

Sanu more or less similar to what Harry does.

BB whiffed on these guys unless his plan is to not resign Brady and get a QB who is more the type to throw to guys like Harry and Sanu.

I think they have twelve picks in the 2020 draft.

That would be comforting if belichick wasn't completely inept at drafting guys that can catch the ball.

Only Bailey played well? Are you high?
Yeah the closest thing I can muster to a compliment for Bailey is that at least he was good before he **** the bed tonight, rather than being average-to-bad for two solid months like most of this team and coaching staff

Brady should retire. Haven’t signed any good receivers since Gronkowski and Edelman. I don’t see how that trend changes.

I hope he comes back for whoever. He can still play. I love watching him play even at this age.

The OL stopped winning at the level it began. Getting beaten down 3 times from the 1 changed everything.
I'll never forget that image of Newhouse running along the line, not attempting to block anyone, and then tripping over his own feet. Thanks, Marshall.

BB pressers are painful after a loss.

The reporters are in fear asking the questions.

3 biggest moments were - not scoring a TD on 1st and goal from the 1, Edelman drop and giving up that 3rd and 8. If we stop that play on defense I think they have a great chance to drive for the winning TD. Not good enough to not take advantage of opportunities.
I think that huge completion to Watson that was called back due to the Mason penalty was a big one also...
